Hoke Appreciation Thread
If decisions are made in the Michigan administration using any degree of reason, that should be the last time we see Brady Hoke wear maize and blue on a football field. He cared a lot, seemed like a nice enough guy, said many of the right things, but just couldn't get the job done. Time to move on for both sides.

I know I sure would appreciate it if Hoke would resign before he completely destroys the program beyond repair. I'd also appreciate it if he would walk back to San Diego or Ball State or anywhere but Ann Arbor.

Maybe Hoke's just a secret agent provocateur placed in the program so that we'd be so disgusted that Brandon gets fired. Because, I don't otherwise see the logic of retaining him.

I, like many fans, truly wanted Coach Hoke to work out. We wanted him to be our next Bo or our first Nick Saban. None of us wanted that more than he did, I'm sure. We have had some good moments with him, like the Sugar Bowl, a few wins against our rivals, But it just hasn't worked out that way. I wish him the best, I hope that his departure from the University doesn't end in a rift, but I do not think he should be coaching this team in 2015. If he is somehow still coaching and/or if Dave Brandon is still AD in 2015, I will still support the Team, but I will be very very disappointed in the administration.

I don't know Brady Hoke personally. I cannot evaluate the content of his character or whether he is a good man or not. I can evaluate however, the product he assembled and parades out every Saturday, and it isn't very good.
I do not care how many hours he logs during the week, or how hard he works. He is paid handsomely for those activities. The objective measure of his work is wins and losses and he is failing miserably.
What I'd appreciate most from Brady, is his resignation. Hell, I'd even give him a nice box in an empty Michigan Stadium suite where he can continue to closely watch the games, clap and encourage players and behave like the multi million dollar fan he is.
For the love of Michigan Brady, resign and go home fergodsakes!

I appreciate the fact that Hoke loves Michigan and seems like a nice guy. But that's right about where my appreciation of Hoke ends.

It really looks like Hoke isn't healthy enough for the job. And I'm not talking about his weight. Hoke looks and sounds like a man who hasn't slept in weeks and is letting the stress get to him. He has really deteriorated over the past four years.
I truly feel bad for the guy and hope he just steps down, for his own good.
