Just brainstorming. I went and checked out some mocks and alot have Lewan in that 10-15 range.
But, the majority have Detroit taking the CB from Oklahoma. I can't remember his name right off hand.

Willie Young had three sacks as a starter. That's terrible.
The Lions have plenty of young CB's they need to continue to develop.(Slay, Green, and Bentley)
Frankly, I'd go with Dennard because he is ready to start now.
than both Gilbert who doesn't play like a 1st rounder IMO and Dennard whom I don't think is a fit for Lions scheme. Fuller offers scheme verstatility and is really good at off man coverage which is something that CB struggles.
Evidently you are unaware of the fact that rookie CB's struggle and that rookies more often make impacts as pass rusher's at DE and OLB.
Either Khalil Mack and Anthony Barr should be the pick if they are there. The Lions need guys who can rush the passer badly.
I have non issue with taking a DB high, but that DB needs to ready to play now. I have my doubts about Gilbert and I don't know if Dennard is a top ten talent.

I assume the Lions need help everywhere at all times

20 years of watching a string of QB's get pummeled by opposing defenses will make a fanbase automatically assume a quality OT is a good bet - but it's probably not the case this year.
My guess, taking their moves into account, they're going to go defense in the first round. LB/DE or CB. I was kinda hoping for Ha-Ha, but I don't know how likely that is after this pick-up. Ideally they would trade back to a little later in the first and still address a position of need while picking up a pick or 2 in the middle rounds of the draft.
Pettigrew. for 4 years $16 million with $8 million guaranteed.
