While I agree that Stroud has seen what Macdonald can do, it seems fair that what the Ravens are doing would be considered “new and improved” over what JC saw in Ann Arbor and Columbus.

It's ok he can rely on his favorite receiver from Michigan to have his back. Seems like someone at OSU held him back but now with good coaching he knows what to do when faced with a competent defense. Sign of things to come Day in and Day out.

Buckeyes loved to blame CJ Stroud for the last two losses.  I don't know, I remember a series of insane throws and catches between Stroud and his future NFL receivers as they tried to keep up with our offense that was scoring touchdowns on nearly every drive.  And then Stroud goes to the NFL and puts up Rookie of the Year numbers.  Hmm... maybe the problem wasn't him.

Umm guy has been one of the best rookie QBs last 3 decades.  never ever care about wonderlic

2021 with 3 NFL 1st round WRs and a top 10 NFL QB (which stroud is ) remains one of top 2-3 wins of all time vs "the"

How 3rd base lost that game with that offense is a sham. Fuck 3rd base.

Day didn't blow it. Michigan was better. These three wins have only grown in stature in the days and years since they've occurred.

Great coaches. Great players. Great team.

Remember, a number of OSU's wins over us, while still each painful, were when Michigan was "down."

Michigan beat OSU three years in a row when OSU was "up" and capable of winning a national title in each season.

Michigan has just been that good.

The challenge of having to beat an OSU that is always among the top 5 teams in the country is what lifted Michigan. There's no national championship, no 40-3 three year run, without OSU representing that ultimate hurdle to overcome. Michigan simply had no choice in order to avoid stagnating as an 'also-ran'.

Honestly, the Texans are playing with house money here.  Which is the COMPLETE opposite of those 2021/2022 Michigan vs OSU games.

Texans lose 37-14 on Saturday?  Still a hell of a season.

Right now Houston is an 8.5 point dog.  I'd lean toward Houston --- this game and team could have some 2021 Cincinnati Bengals vibes.

E.g. ---- team not expected to do much that year, over-achieves and surpisingly wins the division with a great young QB, then goes in to play the AFC #1 seed in the Conference semifinals and gives them a game (Bengals won over Tennessee in a similar spot with a walk-off FG).

The more Stroud succeeds in the NFL, the more it make it look like

1) Stroud was saving himself while playing during the Buckeyes.  I don't think this is really the case

2) Ryan Day was holding Stroud back, intentionally or through ineptitude.

Houston's O Line will be what matters. Not sure how good they are but likely good enough to give CJ time to throw. That being said, UM also wins no matter who wins with a Harbaugh coaching win or Nico win.

Day punting on 4th and short from near midfield in back to back years - that's not on CJ.

Poor CJ also has to deal with the Baltimore weather forecast for this weekend - below freezing temps with "feels like" in the 15-18 degree range.

I wonder if CJ feels some flu-like symptoms coming on.
