Maize and Blue AF

I'd love to see all our impact players return and run it back, but that's probably just me being a selfish fan.  There are compelling reasons for either decision wrt JJ, but we'll show our support either way because he, and every other Wolverine on that team, played their hearts out for the Maize and Blue (yeah, I'm still riding the high lol).

As for the other part; I guess I always just assumed if Harbaugh left he'd take Jesse with him.  I'm still hoping JMFH decides to stay, but I'm 100% sure Minter will be an NFL DC next season.  Same as above; it's hard to be hateful when you're grateful.  Whatever happens in the next couple weeks, they all brought a NC home to Ann Arbor.

I might be one of the few, based on prior comments, but I think Jim is staying at Michigan. He loves the team, the university, and Ann Arbor for his family. I think this is his last job.

No matter what, I'll always be proud of this guy who had more faith in JH and our team on Nov 15, 2020 after the ugly 49-11 loss at home to Wisky.

JJ: I want all Michigan fans to do this. Take 3 deep breaths... And have faith. Faith that every single Coach, player, employee in that building is doing everything they possibly can to be great.

Three years later, 40 wins later, 3 B1G titles later, 3 wins over Ohio later, and one National title to boot!

If Harbaugh goes, he does not take any coaches...but JJ goes as well.

But Harbaugh is not going...and JJ still goes.

However, as crazy as it sounds, I think he would make even more incredible strides with another year. He still has instances of poor decision-making, errant balls, and throwing behind receivers more often than an elite QB would like to. Just my opinion fwiw...which is worth nothing BECAUSE WE WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AND JJ SHOULD GO WHEREVER HIS LIFE LEADS HIM.

Harbaugh should do the same...which keeps him in A2.

I selfishly want Harbaugh back, Minter back, Moore back, and JJ to return. The college game interests me a lot more than the pros.

I speak only for myself here. I have no idea if JJ should turn pro or not. Presumably he has an agent who's already put enough feelers out to gauge the level of NFL interest, and will do what's best for his career in the long run.

If Harbaugh leaves, it'd be interesting to see if the team he joins drafts JJ. I have a feeling he would, based on his comments about JJ being NFL-ready, and the greatest UM QB.

That's funny, I would say the same thing!

Work out the lifetime $$$ difference between being a top 1/4 of the first round pick vs a bottom 1/4 of the first round (or lower), add on a low seven figure NIL cherry and we're probably not talking about a significant difference either way.  But the cherry on top of the NIL cherry would be the chance to go 4-0 vs Ohio state, back to back to back to back playoffs and possibly back to back national champs.

Here's my fantasy;

JH, JJ, a cpl ends, a cpl ball carriers, and a bunch of linemen all stay for 1 more year.

Meanwhile,  JH does some serious teaching to whomever to take over the head spot.

Then, the following year, JH goes back to pro and finds a way to get JJ on his squad. Either thru the draft or trading.

He has been projected to the end of the first round. There is no way he doesn't go in the first two rounds. He has a very high ceiling and a ton of desirable traits for NFL scouts. He can be developed into a very good QB.

I think he could play his way into a top 5-10 pick with another year. I don't know if he will be able to truly show what he can do while under Harbaugh though.

If we get back Harbaugh, JJ, and either Moore or Minter, next year will be a very good team. That schedule will be brutal though.

I have already conditioned myself to the fact that if Harbaugh goes that he will definitely take Minter with him. As far as JJ goes, he could use another year but he could also get drafted and do nothing but work on his craft without classes and everything else. I think it’s 50/50 for both.

If harbs leaves, I feel like it's almost common sense we also lose Minter. Why would he stay if he isn't HC when Harbaugh leaves? Either follows harbs or back to Baltimore.
