Near miss for Corum on another record
Bill Burnett for Arkansas set a mark of 23 consecutive games with a rushing touchdown from 1969-1970.
51 years later in 2021, Breece Hall scored his - rushing touchdown for the 24th consecutive time in his final game for Iowa State.
Blake Corum scored rushing touchdowns in all 15 games this year. He also scored rushing touchdowns in the first 11 games of last year. His two carries against osu last year testing out his knee broke the streak that would have been 26 games.
This isnt meant to be a downer, just another statistical example of Corum’s greatness.

Mike Hart but fast.
Fred Jackson had to eventually hit on one of his hyperbolic assessments.

1 more year, 1 more year, 1 more year.

Would be nice but he announced on Rich Eisen's show that he is going to the NFL.

Those two carries also mean he played in 3 straight wins over OSU.

So glad we got to have him as a Michigan player. I hope now he stays healthy and has a successful NFL career.

Sort of unreported, but scoring his 26th and 27th rushing touchdowns broke the pre-official single season rushing record of 26 TDs set in 1902 by Albert Hernstein. The school didn't officially track stats until 1949, and that's why Haskins' 20 was considered the record. But now it's undisputedly Blake in '23

Incredible.

Records can always be broken, but Blake Corum achieved immortality during the Rose Bowl this year.

Got a great pic of #2 and McCarthy from the All 22 view. Gonna be a sweet poster in the Mancave.

I go through CVS pharmacy, they have a photo shop, I downloaded the photo and chose 24x36. It came out to $31.99. Target has great frames around $20.00.
I’ve done 2 so far, the “Take That” Sports Illustrated cover when Marcus Ray sent David Boston flying and a pic of Mike Morris celebrating in Cbus 45-23

I think that really highlights the quality of the offensive line the last few years.

What do you guys think about his chances of success at tthe next level?
I am sure there is concern about his size, but his lateral speed and vision are definately top notch.

Hoping a team drafts him and uses him like the Steelers use Jaylen Warren to complement Najee Harris.
Similar builds and running styles, though Corum better lateral abilities while Warren more straight line speed.

If my Vikings can get McCarthy in 2nd round and Blake in the 3rd, I’ll be in heaven and the Vikings will have their QB in waiting (one year) and their best RB.
