Steph

I'm honestly dumbfounded how much Poole has improved. His first step is unreal now, finishes really great around the basket, is very adequate on D, just his 3 point shooting is streaky.
More than anything, he's playing like he belongs and is the man. Looks like Steph lite out there sometimes
November 20th, 2021 at 11:51 AM ^
His first step was always elite.

Jordan will be The Chef tonight!!!
November 19th, 2021 at 8:44 PM ^
I assume you mean Steph?
November 19th, 2021 at 8:49 PM ^
Nope he really meant Seth. Seth once cyaned J Poole so Jordan waited until Seth took the night off from Moderating so that Seth would watch Jordan go off against the home state Pistons. It's the long con but J Poole knows what he's doing

Jordan is getting ready to do UFR!
November 19th, 2021 at 9:16 PM ^
Yes I meant Steph.
November 19th, 2021 at 11:23 PM ^
Yikes. RIP Seth. Although, from what it sounds like, Seth kind of had it coming.
November 19th, 2021 at 9:17 PM ^
Yes I meant Steph.

Currently avg a point a minute with the entire 4th quarter left (26 pts). Good for him
November 19th, 2021 at 11:24 PM ^
Fielding Yost would be very proud.
November 19th, 2021 at 8:53 PM ^
Seth’s out!?!? Damn we always lose our most valuable players before the OSU game. Did he tear the thumb equivalent of an acl from all the UFRs?
November 19th, 2021 at 11:10 PM ^
Flu probably.
November 19th, 2021 at 9:19 PM ^
We’ve been watching as one of our grandkids (HUGE Jordan Poole/Steph Curry fan) is there tonight along with our SIL. Fun watching Luka Garza but sorry, Go Warriors and Jordan Poole!
November 19th, 2021 at 9:27 PM ^
I know this is a Jordan Poole thread but I want to give a shout-out to Cade Cunningham.
Watching him grow throughout his first month has been tremendous. The guy is going to be really good
November 19th, 2021 at 10:31 PM ^
Compared to the first 2 games the growth has been tremendous. Future looks bright for him and the Pistons if they can make certain moves.
November 20th, 2021 at 3:33 AM ^
Cade can sure pack a box score... 6 rbs/ 6 ast/ 3 steals/ 2 blocks tonight, plus 18 pts. And this is in his first couple weeks playing... High ceiling, Go Pistons!
November 19th, 2021 at 9:59 PM ^
Think about this: Poole could still be playing for Michigan this year.
November 19th, 2021 at 10:14 PM ^
Did anyone not named Poole really see this coming? I thought he left too early. Things sure fell in place for him. Good for him.
November 19th, 2021 at 10:32 PM ^
I'm definitely eating crow on this one, and I was a huge Poole supporter. Just goes to show how amazing Beilein was at talent evaluation. He had his misses, but really knocked it out of the park with the ambassadors he brought in to play for Michigan.
November 20th, 2021 at 12:29 AM ^
(Serious, not sarcastic tone)
Edit: nevermind he was a second round grade and was a surprise first round pick. Good bet Jordan!
November 19th, 2021 at 10:29 PM ^
Glad he’s doing well but sad the Pistons lost.
November 20th, 2021 at 3:21 AM ^
Kind of, The Pistons still need a piece or 2, and I'll rather those pieces be elite talents rather than back of lottery, late 1st round pieces. Need them to lose this year while still playing hard and developing. But next year, depenedent on Cade's development and the theoretical 2022 Lottery pick, I'll be right in the "This is our window" camp
November 20th, 2021 at 12:00 AM ^
Jordan Poole is officially and kindly putting the league on notice this year (and the end of last year). There is no limit to his ceiling, I can say I’ve been wrong about him more than once. He’s just faster, smoother and better every couple months and it’s something to take hold of.
November 20th, 2021 at 12:33 AM ^
Not to take away from Poole's trajectory/focus, but could you imagine if Caris Levert stayed healthy in the league. Michigan has been well represented (embarrassment of riches), but could be even more prestigious.
I hope Poole continues to elevate. It's great for him and reflects a-maize-ing on the maize and blue!
November 20th, 2021 at 1:32 AM ^
Levert is a special talent. The first time I saw him as a true freshman, I said “who is this guy?”. He has the it factor.
November 20th, 2021 at 1:34 AM ^
For those who argued with me about him being a 30% shooter from 3, he’s now at 29%. Just needs to cut down on the wild Steph like stuff and he’llbe fine.
November 20th, 2021 at 4:31 AM ^
Nothing I saw at Michigan led me to believe he would ever be this good, let alone in year 2 and leaving when he did.
I was wrong and I couldn’t be happier for the kid.
I’m just blown away at his progress.
