Another day, another OSU recruiting success story
For those of you scoring at home, that's 4 of the top 14 receivers in the class (1,7,8,14).
Tressel just out coached Carr. Carr has as much talent or more than OSU at the time. Then came Urban and the 4 team playoffs system. It could have been different if Carr would have coached better in his later years and found a good successor coach. But he failed doing both and Michigan has slipped and may never recover.
Sadly I agree with most everything you wrote. I do think we have a chance to recover if we change coaching regimes.
Let's all really hope Michigan has the speed and agility at cornerbacks and safety to cover these guys and shut them down, amirite?
Or Ryan Osborn to coach the DEs and EDGEs to get into the backfield and get QBs off their game.
There's no chance of that! Our only hope is that the OSU starting QB will not be elite?
We are going to be a problem this basketball season.
That's funny, I didn't know that top-rated WR's were developed in the state of Ohio's crotch.
They are on a tear. It's kind of nuts. OSU will blow us out for the foreseeable future. I no longer take any interest in The Game. It's turned into a blood bath. Maybe if they kick the ever living shit out of us enough times in a row they will stop taking the rivalry so seriously and we can just lose like everyone else without getting embarrassed.
Got to admit it. As long as JH stays in the coaches seat, there's not going to be a rush to join the football team as there is in Columbus. Success is a magnet for the highest rated players. We need a new, dynamic coach that will attract some stars and that's how the whole ball of wax starts rolling. Right now we get the low rated 4 stars and really "strong" 3 star players to field a decent team and OSU is going to beat us for the next 25 years if we don't shake it up. Otherwise we get to be Iowa or Tennessee forever and we'll take our yearly loss to OSU while we shift our focus to MSU because that's our competition now.
Well, Iowa never recruits top 15 classes and Tennessee hasn't won as much as UM. We're more like PSU or TAMU, but we should be more like ND or Oklahoma :/
Easy recipe, WIN! 5 and 4 stars want to be on a team that will make the playoffs every season and have a chance to win a national championship. We are stuck in a boring 3 team pattern with Alabama, Clemson and OSU. The 4th spot seems to rotate between OU, ND and LSU. Oh well the death star will not be defeated until we go to the 12 team playoff in 2025.
