OSU putting their foot on Indiana’s throat in 2.5 minutes. They’re going to drop 70 on us.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:28 PM ^
If we can hold them to 99, it will be a moral victory.
November 21st, 2020 at 1:04 PM ^
You know what I've noticed the last few games I've watched? Playing DB is hard.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:13 PM ^
I wish I was an osu fan
November 21st, 2020 at 12:14 PM ^
Welp. That looked easy.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:15 PM ^
Buckeyes and Fields performed surgery on the Hoosiers on that first possession.
Already 7-0 osu.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:15 PM ^
OSU could beat us by 100 if they wanted to. Thank god it’s hockey season and basketball is about to start
November 21st, 2020 at 12:18 PM ^
I don’t want to wish Covid on anyone but any way we can get that game cancelled would be great.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:21 PM ^
Yeah, might just need to fabricate an ‘outbreak’ that week.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:44 PM ^
The Hockey team already is showing great signs and I believe the BB team is going to surprise people and be in the mix for the B1G championship.
>Hard to believe the Football team is the worst of the bunch!
November 21st, 2020 at 12:17 PM ^
This nebraska/illinois game not only showcases 2 shit teams, but also unrecognizable uniforms. What the hell are they wearing?
November 21st, 2020 at 12:27 PM ^
As long as Nebraska out hits Illinois, uniforms don't matter.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:39 PM ^
In actuality, Illinois is wearing what is as close to standard road unis as any of their combos: white tops w/orange lettering and orange pants, white helmets w/an orange "Block I".
OTOH, Nebraska's outfits would have worked 3 weeks ago on Halloween or a dozen years ago when Pelini was there, black shirts were a "thing", and UNL still occasionally played competitive football.
November 21st, 2020 at 2:19 PM ^
Maybe it’s my tv, but the orange looks like more of a ‘sherbet’ as opposed to their normal orange - like the old school Tampa Bay Bucs.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:18 PM ^
Maybe there's some ice skating on or something.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:18 PM ^
I’m 100% convinced Gus Johnson would blow each Ohio state player if he could.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:19 PM ^
Username checks out
November 21st, 2020 at 12:21 PM ^
Aye??????
November 21st, 2020 at 12:26 PM ^
Bada bang Bada boom or whatever
November 21st, 2020 at 2:10 PM ^
He's a Michigan fan fyi. That's just Gus Johnson in a nutshell. Dude is hype about everything. Imagine if Michigan was actually good while he was announcing a game.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:18 PM ^
It's like Ohio State is playing galaxy brain football.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:20 PM ^
Well this first 4:13 couldn’t have gone any worse. Blowout city incoming.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:21 PM ^
I mean, it very obviously could have gone worse. They could have reviewed that blown call and it would be Ohio State's football already.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:22 PM ^
When osu returns the blocked punt for a td, you’ll get it
November 21st, 2020 at 12:21 PM ^
IU so far is showing they're not up to the moment.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:37 PM ^
I don’t think any sane football fan outside of Bloomington could say that they ever were. Don’t get me wrong, Tom Allen deserves credit for the work he’s done at IU, and his team should never apologize for beating the teams they’ve beaten this year. This might be the best IU team in a long, long time. But that fact does not mean that they are even remotely close to being on OSU’s level.
That team in Columbus has back ups who could probably get drafted right now. That’s how good they are. They are a JV NFL team. IU is just a good, well coached, but amateur college team. It will show in the final score today. You also have to remember that OSU has a quarterback who is going to go top-five in the draft in a few months. IU just has a guy with a funny last name.
42-17 OSU
November 21st, 2020 at 12:47 PM ^
So you're saying recruiting top 5* dudes and having great coaching actually makes a difference?!
November 21st, 2020 at 12:24 PM ^
Is this Michigan In watching play OSU? Looks familiar. So much for IU.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:25 PM ^
As the late/great Keith Jackson used to say-WHOA NELLIE!!
The Buckeyes are playoff bound.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:30 PM ^
How tf do you drop that? Teams looks perfect against us and lay eggs against osu...
November 21st, 2020 at 12:30 PM ^
You didn’t think Indiana would hang with them, did you?
November 21st, 2020 at 12:34 PM ^
Nope. I fully expect OSU to cover
November 21st, 2020 at 12:31 PM ^
Illini and Brandon Peters up 14-7 over some team wearing halloween costumes.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:58 PM ^
Peters 7-8 with a TD pass.
Hope they crush nebraska!!!
November 21st, 2020 at 12:34 PM ^
App state and CC will be the best game here
November 21st, 2020 at 12:40 PM ^
That’s a fumble.
Edit: Wow, they confirmed that!?
November 21st, 2020 at 12:43 PM ^
IU has opportunities, can't do anything with them. They can't keep their finger in the dam forever, it's going to burst all over them.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:43 PM ^
Watching other teams is no fun. Why?
- They look organized
- They look like they want to win
- They are all better than Michigan
- They play with passion
Honestly, whoever the next coach is, find someone who can motivate the damn players
November 21st, 2020 at 12:46 PM ^
TWO picks on Fields. DO something with this, Indiana.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:47 PM ^
And Indiana goes full Harbaugh, runs into a stacked box for -1.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:50 PM ^
One would hope.
I will say this, Fields will absolutely struggle in the NFL if his habit is to hold the ball this long. He can pull it off against B1G teams with a far better offensive line. That disparity won't exist in the NFL when he's the starting QB in Jacksonville.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:47 PM ^
I know there are more systematic problems, but watching this IU-OSU game, when is the last time UM had good luck against OSU or MSU? We've mostly been snake-bitten.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:50 PM ^
Part of playing man defense is that you've got your back to the ball. IU has two picks already, and both were results of guys having their eyes on the QB and getting their hands on the ball.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:48 PM ^
OSU may not even need to score again to win.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:53 PM ^
Anyone else remember penalties called against Ohio State outside of a CFP game?
Asking for a friend.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:54 PM ^
OSU just played their worst quarter in years and are up 7-0 and IU still couldn’t do shit. OSU betters should be feeling comfy
November 21st, 2020 at 12:58 PM ^
This zone is a great response to the modern offense. I'd hire the dude because I care a shi- ton about beating OSU.
November 21st, 2020 at 12:59 PM ^
Defensive coordinator that adapts his scheme? How refreshing would that be
