103 points by Michigan: most EVER in a B1G Opener
What a game last night that was. Atmosphere at Crisler was excellent for a weekday 6:30pm game. Especially considering the crowd for the Creighton game.
Michigan's 103 points last night against Iowa is the most points the Wolverines have scored in a B1G Opener since...........EVER
1/6/1977 was the previous record. Michigan beat Northwestern at then-Crisler Arena, 102-65.

What does this have to do with Jim Leonhard?
December 8th, 2019 at 10:03 AM ^
A Jim Leonhard coached defense in basketball would be.....interesting.
All the same, as roughly 100,000 people on Twitter eagerly pointed out, he played at Wisconsin and dislodging him from Madison would be next to impossible.

And of course OSU scores 106

How little of a life do you have to be on a rival's message board and trolling after your football team just won a conference title?
BTW it's been 734 days since Online State beat Michigan in the sport this thread is actually about.
Edit: I love the trollcave feature.

Curious to see what 3rd place looks like, perhaps?

Are there rankings for truck drivers?

It’s honestly sad as fuck that it’s Saturday night, your team just won a huge game, and you have so little in the way of friends/family to celebrate this with that you spend *any* amount of time browsing the god damn MGoBlog forums.

The literal last thing on my mind was msu when we won the B1G Tournament over Purdue.
I just......don’t understand those people.

Sweet. Now the men’s team can make OPs on the board.

Juwan Howard is competent, probably really good, who was left with a stocked cupboard.
Ryan Day is competent, probably really good, who was left with a stocked cupboard.
it is what it is.

Cupboard didn’t seem as stacked entering the year. Honestly I thought we might finish 4th or 5th in the big ten . Great job by Juwan!

Not to be a downer, but we still could finish 4th or 5th (or worse) - it's only early December and a lot of tough games and season developments are ahead. However, with this kind of start, finishing 1st (in conference or overall) is also in play - which is nice.

Yeah, that's why Beilein left-that "stocked cupboard". I guarantee you Beilein would not be 8-1 right now. He left for the NBA for more than one reason.

So stocked that Michigan wasn’t even ranked to start the season. Meanwhile osu football was ranked top 5 to start the season.
Terrible comparison. One coach had to develop a bunch of bench players into capable starters and install a whole new offense. The other coach had to develop a 5 star at just about every position and ran the same exact offense he ran the year before at the same team.

Does this mean we need to Fire Don Brown? ??

Jim Leonhard could have held us to 101 last night!
