Does anyone else feel cautiously optimistic about ND after last night?

I really feel like if we play the way we did in the second half against Penn State, we got a legit shot to win. How do you guys feel about this Saturday? BPONE or are we finally gonna come to life?

Absolutely, we were the better team, just a little short on the scoreboard due to getting behind early. If that game goes another quarter they would have won.  Also, it's at home.

I do. The team showed improvement across the board. They played their asses off, and kept the mistakes down to a minimum. The final score doesn't reflect what I saw on the field, especially after the half. We actually made positive second half adjustments, on the road, against a ranked team. Almost won a dogfight. If they keep moving in this direction the results will follow.

For the first time of the season I’m feeling pretty good about this game. After seeing the second half I do think they’re close to hitting their stride and being a good offense.

To hell with Notre Dame. Big House should be rocking!

Michigan can beat ND.  Why?   It’s at home.  If it was away, I would chalk it up as a loss.  We can’t seem to win on the road against ranked teams. At home, we have better chance.

I thought Michigan was going to get destroyed by Penn State, similar to the 42 - 13 result in 2017.  And I still thought they had a chance against Notre Dame.

If I had to pick, I would pick Notre Dame, but I definitely think Michigan has a good chance to win the game.

I don’t know how you couldn’t be cautiously optimistic after watching that. They showed the heart and passion that’s needed to win tough games and never gave up.  I was presently surprised.

I don’t think we get blown out anymore bc we appear to be able to run the ball a little better. Should keep ND from lining their ears back

ND >>>PSU imo though. I think PSU is overrated and felt that way going into the UM / PSU game. They have one player on offense and solid D.

Good team but not elite: OSU, Bama, Clemson, LSU tier

I wish people would realize that psu is not some great team, also...they turtled the typical frames janklin way they always do after halftime. Look no further for reasons why Michigan’s offense “came alive.”

Remember how Michigan got rolled by Oregon after the horror?   I expect something closer but not a win.

So .. what is ND's best victory this year ?   Everyone jumped on the "hey they lost a close game to Georgia" ... who then lost to a horrible South Carolina team at home.  ND is ALWAYS overrated.

Go Blue!
