I think he would have had a monster year this year if he stayed. Bummed we never got to see a fully operational Gentry. ...or why he was so slow and weak at the NFL combine. When he came out of HS, I remember thinking he was super fast for a guy his size.

Watching that video reminded me of what a big kid he is. Reminds me a little bit of McCaffrey. Always wonder what may have happened had he remained at QB.
I’m glad to see him in that Steelers uniform. When he declared, it seemed like a crap shoot.

My best guess is that he would have been in the transfer portal this winter and playing his final season elsewhere. This Board would have had numerous posts over the last several months about why with his size, speed, and athleticism he wasn't converted to TE.
