OT: Who is your Minor League team/teams?
Go Whitecaps!!!!!!
Correction: Beer City Bung Hammers
* Bung Hammers *
Cincinnati Reds
Hens!
Clippers
They did make the playoffs last season unlike that other LA team.
How many Championships have they won compared to the other team’s 16?
...Finals appearances?
...Western Conference Finals Appearances?
Answer (to all): ZERO (which is why they are LA’s Minor League Basketball Team)
But they did make the playoffs last year!!!! ??? Let’s hang a banner!
Eastside Diamond Hoppers
I've been really enjoying this league. Can't beat $6 lawn seats, free fireworks, and a playground and other assorted kid friendly stuff for a cheap summer night of entertainment. The quality of baseball was actually surprisingly good.
Birmingham/Bloomfield Beavers! Even though I now live on the east side I grew up out that way.
Great ball park, free parking, decent beer and concession prices. Easy 15 min drive home. Camped with my son in the outfield last season with Boy Scouts after the game and they had the Sandlot on the big screen. Got to unfurl the colors and they held onto the giant flag in CF for the anthem this year but campout was cancelled due to lightning.
ERIE Seawolves
Colorado Eagles (Hockey).
Louisville Bats (Baseball).
Penn State basketball (NCAA).
Kazoo Growlers, love the beer. Bells!
Montgomery Biscuits, never seen a game, but the hat logos are great!
(I can't get the picture to embed, sorry)
Detroit Tigers

So here in Columbia we have the Single-A Mets affiliate, the Columbia Fireflies. Sounds like a silly name, but it’s actually a great one. Every year in late spring, the Congaree National Park is home to the Synchronus Firefly mating season, and it is one of only a couple places in the world they exist. They all flash their light, as the name implies, in synchronization. It’s quite an incredible sight really, and turns it into a great name.
The old name was the Columbia Blowfish. Believe it or not it was named after the band, Hootie and the Blowfish, the members of which went to U of SC together.
Firefly mating season, you say?
I lived in Columbia from 2008-2012. Never went to a Blowfish game, but I went to a couple of Charleston Riverdogs games. It was a nice stadium, right on the water. Man vs Food (the original, better version) filmed an episode at the stadium once. Pretty good ballpark food, and a great looking logo.
I just moved to Greenville and our team is the Drive. The class A for the BoSox and they have a mini version of the green monster in left field. It is really cool. And they play Columbia this week. I may go to a game.
I went to a Greenville Drive game when I lived in SC, and I agree, their stadium is cool. Also, Greenville is an awesome city. Walkable/attractive downtown. Enjoy!
Toledo Walleye, Grand Rapids Griffins
Portland Sea Dogs, Pawtucket Red Sox
I was going to say the Walleye. What a wild time their games are!
Sounds
Pit Spitters!
Same.
I live close to Ft. Wayne so it’s the Tincaps for me. It’s a beautiful minor league park. It has been voted best minor league park several times.
Yessir! Love Parkview Field. Going this weekend!
I live in the apartments right across from the Tincaps lol. Nice to see some other people from around Fort Wayne here.
Durham Bulls and Myrtle Beach Mermen.
I know MLB wants every fan to get invested in the minors to further engrain the Astros formula into the public consciousness, but I refuse. I'm going to consume even less baseball after their horrid announcement of uniform ads today.
Mud Hens. They're just 30 or so minutes away from me here in Milan, they're relatively cheap, they have some good food options and while they don't take themselves too seriously, they simultaneously don't lean too hard into the whimsy or silly. It's a good time.
Also, props to the Louisville Bats. I've been to three different Bats games and every time, it's been amazing.
Live in Little Rock so we stay to support the Arkansas Travelers but always loved the Augusta GreenJackets name.
The Rocket City Trash Pandas!
OP didn’t limit it to baseball.. so Orlando Solar Bears
That's such a great name, I always mean to go check them out but never do.
Frederick Keys. The Cub Scout Pack my kids were in had a Frederick Keys night once a year. We'd go, watch the game then do a sleep over in the outfield after watching some kids' movie.
Great fun with the kids.
Baseball: Fort Myers Miracle (High A for the Twins). I go to about 10 games each Summer and every game the Lakeland Flying Tigers play in Fort Myers (hoping to see a future for my Tigers).
Hockey: The Florida Everblades (Hurricanes). I go to a couple of games each year.
Closest team is New Hampshire Fisher Cats. I don’t have strong allegiance to them, but it was nice to see Vlad Jr last year.
Dayton Dragons (baseball)
This year its a tie between Hamilton Ticats and Winnipeg.... but I give the Blue Bombers the edge for trip to Grey Cup.... it’s been a awhile and they are badly due.
Rocket City Trash Pandas
Lansing Lugnuts, an oasis in a landfill of suck and despair
That’s my local team, too. Decent stadium, and lots of food/drink options.
Union Berlin. They were in the second Bundesliga of German Soccer last season. But they got promoted last year into the top level. Still, they haven't played in the first division, so I think they still count.
Went to a game last year and had a blast. The fans are some of the most passionate for any sport anywhere in the world.
Anyway: EISERN UNION!!!!
Is that Franz Wagner's team, too?
Batavia Muckdogs
