Brandon Justice on WR Oliver Martin: "Martin heavy in the rotation"
Brandon Justice, of The Wolverine Lounge, expects WR Oliver Martin to have significant playing time at the slot receiver this year. He expects Grant Perry to start there.
Following the Eddie McDoom news TWL reported, the battle for the slot is between G. Perry and O. Martin. Both have strong hands; Perry, a senior, has far more experience; Martin, a RS FR, has a higher ceiling/bigger frame. Expect Perry to start w/ Martin heavy in the rotation.

Oliver Martin is a tad taller, and a tad heavier, than Perry. Perry, 6'0", 195, Martin, 6'1", 200. And we saw last year Oliver Martin can make a circus catch. He has focus:

Whoa. Bringing the scorching hot takes.
In have a feeling skypanther will start a new thread for every hot take he sees on Twitter
It's a welcome reprieve from the OSU fans who have begun creating accounts just to defend urban.
Do you have an opinion on the one sentence posts, that have no links?
Can't wait to see what he can do.
We get a crumb here... we get a crumb there... I want the whole fucking pie! September 1st... hurry it up!
It’s really going to be fun. Black, DPJ, Perry, Martin, and Collins and mix in McKeon, Gentry, and Eubanks along with Shea that can drop the ball in on a dime. It’s been a while!
Stop... I'm already way too excited and you're not helping!
Don't stop, really, please... I just want more!
The OL are sick and tired of hearing they suck! They are going to prove a lot of doubters wrong.
Well then maybe they should try not sucking
Be nice to see them take it out on Notre Dame. :-)
They say that every year though. Hopefully Warinner makes them back it up
From your lips to God's ears ... Go Blue !!!
I really hope this is true.
THIS is what I want to hear. A big OL leap this season will translate into surpassed expectations.

Anytime I see you post I get a warm and fuzzy feeling.
Lord I hope your optimism is due to the offense being good this year considering your insight into the program
This doesn't really say anything we don't already figure on and I want to inject it straight into my veins. Keep it coming.
Dude, just say it. Michigan is going to destroy people this year. Please, it's what ive been saying, but will only get validation once you confirm it. Please confirm it. Please. You know you want to.
Must play a game first, but man we have the talent on both sides of the ball. It’s going to be a fun ride back to the top.
So does this mean your feeling more optimistic than the 8-4 i believe you predicted a few weeks back?
He said 9-3, I believe.

I think I was at 9-3, but 10-2 or better looks good right now.

I've been saying that 10-2 with this schedule, plus a bowl game winning would be a very good year. 11 wins ain't easy. Goal is get to Indy. We can make it happen this year, need Shea's ability to make down the field throws to open up the game!

No use bitching about the schedule, but in '16 and now '18 we have loaded teams on the same year we have the bitch road schedule. So I guess I am bitching about the schedule. The switch away from the OSU/MSU flip-flop was one of the worst things to come out of Brandon's watch.

I was not pleased with the MSU schedule issue thanks to dumb ass Brandon. However, I think Michigan actually benefits long term. Yes MSU is a rivalry game and those are always hard, but with OSU, MSU, and Penn State all in the East, there are going to be two home games and two road games every other year no matter what against the three other toughest teams in the East. As history hopefully returns to normal, I would prefer to have OSU and Penn State split vs. OSU and MSU split.
Ok, then, it is this year. Let's strap it on and find out !
A long damn while.
Don’t forget the best RB we’ve had in a decade, and a great pass catching option to spell him.
Definitely not forgetting him. He is good for 1,200 plus.
I like the "+".
I hope Chris Evans is 1200+ rushing/receiving combined.
Any chance Eubanks moves to outside WR? I think he could be like a Devin Funchess.
Except, he can block (hopefully). A guy with Funchess’ receiving ability is a bigger threat from the TE spot, if he can block

We have a lot of weapons for sure. All depends on the OL and Shea to get it done.
Have you seen any practices?
Also of note: Donovan Peoples-Jones and Tarik Black are expected to start at the wideout position, with Nico Collins getting playing time. Both Karan Higdon and Chris Evans will see significant snaps. Expect Ben Bredeson to start and left guard, flanking Cesar Ruiz.
Also, Rashan Gary and Chase Winovich will start at the respective DE positions, and Lavert Hill and David Long look like they'll be good at CB this year.
Did I miss anything?
I mean, yeah, McDoom left because he had been beaten out. Martin might be really good; he's still probably getting on the field for just 10 snaps a game or so. Perry is already proven to be quite good, and the guy who will probably spend more time in the "slot" than anyone else will be... TE Zach Gentry.
I should add this about Brandon Justice. He has really gotten to know some people inside Schembechler Hall. He is a good follow right now.
Your responses to this take are better than my responses to this take.
But this does not mesh with my personal belief that he's a try-hard douchebag that doesn't know football from table tennis who just bugged players at Skeeps to try and be their friend.
Can others just tell me what he says so I don't have to follow him?
Even the youngsters grow up good Dr.
Fair and wise. You're a good man.
I am still reporting that Harbaugh talked Watson and Furbush to come back and play special teams and be backups instead of grad transferring. Still amazes me, what a coach! Go blue
Also still reporting big years for Martin, Eubanks, and Thomas. We need to get Drew on the field some way so he doesn’t leave.
What a life you guys have!

Yep. He gets a lot of flack on here for some reason, but I've never minded him.
How many failed one handed catch tries did Perry have last year?
About -99999388 of them
Grant Perry is no way 6’0 lol maybe 5’10 180 lol

But the team isn't talking. Say less? People complain. Say more? People complain.
