Not just hit 6, but he realistically had 8 or 9 wide open looks from 3. How many wide open looks do you think Stauskas has seen the last few games? Our D effort right now is awful and I think Morgan may be the main reason. He is slow in transition and on switches. That last wide open 3 for Marble was Morgan being way late on his close out - should've switched more quickly from the off-ball screen. It is just ugly out there.

Losing to Iowa in a well played game would be disapointing, but losing like this makes me wonder what our game prep looked like from the team and coaches. To not yet have an answer for the "small quick guy" on Nik seems like a major problem going forward.

Our players need to be more resilient. A trend I've noticed all year. They play hard and show passion and energy when they're hitting a bunch of threes, but they shrink when they get punched in the mouth. Very inconsistent effort.

The answer should be Nick is 6'6" and he has to just shoot over the top to make them pay. Either that or post up the smaller guy, but unfortunately I don't think that is a part of Nick's game yet.
