Big 10 Championship Game Open Thread

No meteors seem in the forecast in the greater Indiana area per NASA, so we'll be forced to watch our top 2 competitors in the East face off.  Short of a 25+ pt blowout MSU is destined for the Rose, OSU is playing for the right to give up 60 pts to Florida State.

Have at it....

At this point, continued steady improvement makes him a pretty good player next year (he was a pretty good play already down the stretch).  He came in raw, didn't redshirt, and he has undergone some massive growth in his three years at Michigan.

I would imagine he is just now getting to a place where he can focus on the sort of technique that takes a DL from good to great while having an understanding of his own physical abilities.

That's $4.75M worth of coaching on the D-line.   Guys who have "it" flash young - Gedeon looks like he has "it", JMFR, Ross at the LB.  Henry flashed a bit as a freshman, sorry I have never seen Pipkins flash it but he is not at a position that normally flashes. That said Henry did.   Taco flashed a little bit late in the year.  Other than that I dont see any 'very young flashes" from anyone on the DL - a lot of workmanlike guys we have.  Guys who by the time they are seniors will be nice players like a Washington and Black but not game changers like a Graham, unless something changes or some make quantum leaps. I was hoping Mario O would be one but he fell off once we got into conference and opponents  were better.

about being dominate on 1 side of the ball...take MSU: great on D, but average to below average on O. The fact that they can't score allows a team with a great O to get back in the game by being able to strike on quick scores and big plays.

At the end of the day I would rather have a great D than great O but points win games.
