Friday Night NCAA Football Open Thread

Why not, eh? There isn't much going on in football tonight, but we do have a somewhat intriguing AACtion matchup with Central Florida and Louisville tonight at 8 PM on ESPN. UCF is a 14-point underdog as of the last time I checked. Here are the matchup stats from TeamRankings:

UCF lost to South Carolina by 3, and destroyed powerhouse Akron which came within a few yards of...

 

/nevermind too soon.

No seriously, UCF would probably be 2nd or 3rd in the Big 10.  They play UConn next week ... and Rutgers down the road. Not sure anything else is a loss.. might be a fringe BCS team with 1 loss.  Bad conference but...

edit: guess their conference has an automatic bid to the BCS so they control their fate.

I can't believe they won. I was watching and then Louisville went up by two scores and I thought it was over. There's a lesson that things aren't always what they seem. Yes our team has issues but there is hope at least until the ball snaps. Maybe there's some marginal improvement. Whatever just beat Indiana and get to the bye week bowl eligible.
