Selection Sunday Thread
Today at 6pm is the Men's Selection Sunday event. I thought I'd make a thread about it now because they have already started their bracketology session on ESPN. This thread is to discuss what seed and where Michigan will be playing and to talk about all other teams in or on the bubble.
I believe that Michigan will be 4 seed out west or a 3 seed in Auburn Hills if the selection committee understands that we only have one bad loss.

This isn't a bad region at all.
Looks like a pretty clean run to the Sweet Sixteen. Gets ugly after that.
Not the easiest route but getting it at the Palace helps, a lot.
I don't like Akron either. I work with a bunch of Akron grads, as well as Ohio (U.) grads. I didn't like the experience losing to OU last year.
CBS just gave us some bulletin board material. Prove 'em wrong, guys.
We got an excellent draw. Kansas is a weak 1 seed.
VCU Michigan should be a good game.
IT'd help if I had the brackets on paper in front of me, harder to analyze future matchups without the bracket in front of me :(

The day is Thursday. If we win, Saturday. Time TBD.
Even though, we're the 4 seed. We got the better region than Sparty. They have Duke, Louisville and I think Valpo matches up well with them.
Anybody else think that Kansas will have trouble getting past UNC? If Mich can get to the sweet 16, anything can happen.
One of my grad degrees from VCU and I'll be at Auburn Hills. Good news - I get to cheer for VCU and Michigan on Thurday. Bad news - I get to cheer against VCU on Saturday. Oh well!
I'd rather play Kansas. The big 12 was weak and they lost to Baylor by 25 points.

Crap. I do not like this. South Dakota? They have that good point guard... and we've never dealt well with those this season. I hope I don't see another App. State.

Auburn Hills is Thursday and Saturday. I haven't seen any times yet.
Wisconsin? Maybe Bo Ryan will extract some revenge from Ohio State.
I don't know . . . OSU is capable of laying an egg at times. They're still very dependent on two guys (Thomas and Craft) for their points.
