How does Oregon State have a game scheduled for today? What would have happened if they went to the championship game?
December 1st, 2012 at 12:00 PM ^
Hurricane Issac made them reschedule and if OSU was in the Pac-12 Championship game I believe they would've cancelled.
December 1st, 2012 at 11:59 AM ^
Just shows they obviously didn't anticipate making it to the ship.
edit - nm, thanks for clarifying Mr. Yost

Taylor Lewan was just on BTN right now at B1G Fan Fest.
Lewan was talking about going pro, saying it's the most 50-50 he's ever been on anything.

Chip Kelly is getting fired at the end of the season, I'd love to see a fully operational Arizona offense against Oregon. O/U of about 112; who's got what?

The thought of this being a high scoring game is about the only thing that makes it interesting. Who would have expected the only TD so far to be a defensive one?

Okie-TCU for me, please. Thank goodness I don't have to work through a hangover.

I did not see this posted last night or today, but Denard's single season rushing record was already broken by that jordan lynch from NIU... that record didn't last long.. Too bad the kid did it against MAC competition and more carries

Sooners up 7-0 end of the 1st.

Zone blitz on 3rd and 14 works to specifications for OU, yielding another 3&O. Both offenses struggling to gain positive yardage.

Baylor is just taking it to OSU, 24-3. A couple of big plays really helped: a pick six, and a 74 yard pass play, mostly yac to a wide open receiver.

After an INT is returned to the OU 7, TCU runs it in on 1st and goal. Tied at 7.

Officials ruled that the previous play had gone to review before the next play happened on the field! Those guys are ridiculous sometimes.
December 1st, 2012 at 1:23 PM ^
In the Baylor-OSU game, defenses are reverting to normal (almost non-existant), and the score is now Baylor 24-17.

Watching the CUSA championship. The outstanding clock management and execution by Tulsa at the end of the half here really warms my heart. That was beautiful.

How was that kick for TCU not good?
December 1st, 2012 at 3:01 PM ^
That was a nice stop by the TCU defense, bringing down Landry Jones and forcing Oklahoma to punt. That being said, if the Sooners had been adept enough to snag Tacopants on the recruiting trail, one of the two bombs that Jones threw to the turf ultimately would have put this game away.
On that note, TCU promptly answers the call with a drive that fails to get past their own 10, and then there's delay of game to back the punter up into the end zone because....?
...and TCU redeems itself by recovering a muffed punt around the 40 of Oklahoma. This is undoubtedly where they would have been had anything on the previous set of downs actually worked.
Result of all that: TCU makes a 47 yard FG. The Frogs got to the Oklahoma 27 and then...not much happened except for the false start that made it 4th and 9. Gary Patterson looks like he's about to go Gunther Cunningham and kick a binder full of plays, likely offensive ones.
