Break up Purdue!

points to Purdue in 1 QT as we did all game, so lovely to see that

Defense and special teams for OSU are just total garbage.

Why has Purdue abandoned their screen game? That was their bread and butter and IU shredded Ohio with that kind of stuff.
October 20th, 2012 at 12:51 PM ^
Oh great TWIS, may you exacerbate their suffering....

Turns out the Auburn guy who shouted at the airport might have been on to something.

Also, the only reason Gus Malzahn wasn't fired a year or two ago was $$->Cam and Malzahn. Clearly he's in over his head without good coordinators which is a surprise to no one but ESPN giving how amazing he did at ISU

After watching Auburn suction up high-level recruits for several years now, I would love to see them fall well short of bowl eligibility and their recruiting class self destruct.

Revenge of the cookie duster mustache!

That was a good Zoltan impression

Holy cow - I had 2009 MSU flashbacks there. It worked, though.

BALLLLLSY fake punt....Way to give it up Ohio.
October 20th, 2012 at 12:52 PM ^
very sly and gutsy, hahahahaha
ohio fans have to be so annoyed right now

When you have a punter that can effectively rugby punt, that little fake is an option on every punt. It's a great weapon to have...he has a crease, he runs. But if the crease collapses, then he just kicks it and you have great coverage.

But he's got to make the correct read there. Zoltan against MSU and (on the plus side) the VT punter in the Sugar Bowl did not, and it blew up in their faces.

Someone on the ohio sideline sais, "put your f-ing hands up"
October 20th, 2012 at 12:53 PM ^
I don't feel sorry for them.
They have a lot of talent. This is a coaching issue.

October 20th, 2012 at 12:55 PM ^
And they're probably going to lose their entire defensive line after this year as well.

Two free first downs thanks to LSU penalties on just that drive. I am thinking that Les Miles is wondering why he can't get first downs this easily....
....and LSU has another defensive tackle hobbling a little after that play. They've got one or two more, I think, before they start throwing freshmen to the wolves though, so no worries yet, right?

I would not be at all surprised for a Heacock comeback.
Heacock hired Meyer at Illinois St. several years ago.

Purdue is killing them with that quick hitch crap.
October 20th, 2012 at 1:00 PM ^
LOL. Did that side judge just take an extra step when he spotted that ball?
October 20th, 2012 at 1:01 PM ^
It's like he looked at where the first down marker was and just walked a couple feet past it. Gave Purdue at least a yard.
October 20th, 2012 at 1:00 PM ^
Honestly...how can LSU be this awful on Offense year after year?? I mean they have recruited well and just suck on a weekly basis.
October 20th, 2012 at 1:01 PM ^
ESPN reporting Golson for ND will not start. If they keep going with Rees, it is possibly the dumbest thing they could do. He's like Tim Lincecum. He's nice in relief, terrible in starts.
October 20th, 2012 at 1:03 PM ^
So is ND smart for starting a guy who suffered a concussion last week?
October 20th, 2012 at 1:02 PM ^
give ohio as much angst as possible
October 20th, 2012 at 1:04 PM ^
Temple is continuing their revenge tour right now. Up 10-0 on undefeated Rutgers early. Would be pretty funny to see Temple run the table in the Big East after being allowed to rejoin.

When did pass interference become a spot foul in college football?
October 20th, 2012 at 1:06 PM ^
It's a spot foul if the interference occurs less than 15 yards downfield.

Terrible pass by Terbush.

Derp.
October 20th, 2012 at 1:06 PM ^
And Purdue blows the long drive.
October 20th, 2012 at 1:07 PM ^
Damnit purdont.
October 20th, 2012 at 1:07 PM ^
Hope playing for 3 pts inside of the 10. Surprised by that one...go for the throat Hope.
Of course I fully understand why he was playing for 3 after that god awful decision.
October 20th, 2012 at 1:07 PM ^
Buckeyes INT in end zone for touchback. TerBush'd.
October 20th, 2012 at 1:07 PM ^
Purdue with a 19 play, almost 10 minute drive per ESPN gamecast...I guess they liked it so much when we dropped a 17-play drive on them that they're dinking and dunking Ohio all the way down the field.
And yes, notwithstanding the long pass to start the game, that might be because that is their only offensive option (which is somewhat confirmed by the endzone interception...)
October 20th, 2012 at 1:07 PM ^
they just blew a FG opportunity, can't wait to play ohio
October 20th, 2012 at 1:07 PM ^
He actually threw it behind the LB. As in, that pass was so covered that the LB almost overran it
