His time has gone by way too fast. Looking forward to a fantastic Senior year and a B1G championship at the very least.

Seriously. I can't believe this will be his senior year already.

I wish we had him for longer, but I'm not gonna lie - that wild play against WMU seems like forever ago.

Oh Denard how we will miss you after this season. We love you and you are the perfect example of a Michigan Man. That smile is so tremendous.

He's got the best attitude I've ever seen. Great kid. Way to represent.

What an amazing young man. He is a great role model. He takes everything in stride and works as hard as anyone. His family has to be very proud of the man they raised.

I want to see more. Damn I'm going to miss him when he graduates.

You're not the only one enjoying this. Keep up the good work and continue to make us proud.

Denard being a senior depression mode activated.

Hopefully he has a son and he comes to michigan to grant us with another 4 years of jaw dropping plays

that Denard's kid(s) will attend Meeechigan, whether they play sports or not. Denard LOVES Michigan, it just oozes from him. It's one of the many things I love about him.
All of Denard's offspring are belong to us.
Does Denard have any younger brothers that might follow him to Michigan?

In the middle of finals week for me. Denard's smile always makes you feel better. Can't wait for the season to start! Be hungry and beat bama! Go Blue!

While I don't think "everyone" does that, there is a difference between loving how a kid represents the university/himself and questioning his abilities at a football position. I don't know many people who don't like Denard the person. I personally love Denard the person and athlete FWIW.
March 21st, 2012 at 11:15 AM ^
Being a good player doesn't mean the person is well liked. And conversely, being a bad player doesn't mean the person is disliked. I don't think Denard is the best quarterback in the world, but I love the way he plays the game - full speed, with humility, etc.
March 21st, 2012 at 11:37 AM ^
"...Denard has a horrible game" that you speak of?
Seriously though, I kinda see your point, but we are talking about Denard's overall awesomeness as a Michigan guy, student, human being, etc.
In any case, a lot of what you're saying fell off the table last year, never to return.

Every time I watch Denard in an interview, I tell myself not to smile. So far, I haven't been successful.. What a great kid.

People always ask me who my favorite Wolverine that I've seen play in my lifetime is. I'm 21 and Denard will definitely be in the discussion with Charles Woodson, Braylon, Mike Hart, Woodley, Brady/Henson, and a few others.

"I like 'em all." Lloyd Carr
I don't think Brady/Henson ever played for Michigan. Brady/Henson was not a real person.
Brady/Henson was actually more of a situation upon which one looks back with some degree of regret, consternation, and puzzlement.

rocking the Topsiders!
Awesome interview: I can't wait to see him suit up this season.
Am I the only one who thinks those shoes are ugly? I don't get the appeal. Maybe because everyone who seems preppy/rich/sophisticated wears them. I don't know what it is.

My first Michigan game was App State and I graduated after Rich Rod's last year. Suffice to say, I didn't see a whole lot of great football during my time at Michigan. But, I did get to see this kid play live. I'll forever be thankful for that. Thanks for being an awesome representative of the university, DRob.
but we don't say that school's name (*pp State"). That game is referred to as "THE HORROR". Now you know, and welcome to the board.
Um....that game never happened. It was set up by the Illuminati.
going to miss those dreads
Is it just me or does it seem like the video stop right in the middle of the interview? Watch the ending again. It left me feeling like there was more to the interview that was left out.
Maybe i'm wrong.
dilithium time warp.
He took to a new level for me when I saw him on TV at Yost cheering for the hockey team.

Damn he is a great kid. He will play in the NFL at some position, and will have major shoe endorsements and the like...he has that magnetic personality
