OT: Monday Night Football Open Thread
Well, I know that everyone wants to talk about the PSU situation, but I am frankly sick of even thinking about that. Let's take our minds off of such a sad thing and watch two fairly good pro teams play. Teams trading turnovers in the last two minutes of the first half here. Chicago threatening in the red zone with about 50 seconds to go. Tied up 10-10. Go Eagles.
Also, they spotlighted BG earlier and he proceeded to destroy the right tackle. Beast mode.

Everytime I see Jay Cutler I kind of hope someone walks up to him and hits him in the face. Something about the way he looks...

I'm a Lions fan... trust me, I feel your pain. I'm just excited to see a couple of wins. The fact that we have a winning record seems like this is just a trap...

The Bears are hitting really hard in this game and Vick's O-Line making him feel like a tackling dummy

I honestly believe we have found an OLine worse than Detroit and they reside in Philly. Vick is getting mauled on 3 step drops let alone doing anything else.

Lions OL are above average unit, not the worst. However, finding interior lineman is a priority for the offseason.

No sacks allowed tonight. That was key.

I know some of you are hardcore NFL people, and that is fine, but I get less interested in the NFL more and more every single year. It just doesn't compare to NCAA football. I can watch ANY college football game and have a great time doing it, but I can't do that for NFL games. I really enjoy watching NFL playoffs, but regular season, it's just not for me.

suit yourself. I'm enjoying watching two of the best, young all purpose backs in the NFL as well as one of the more exciting QBs of my generation.

I tend to agree. Also, you are more than likely preaching to the choir. This blog is about 90% college football...

It's fine to have college pride and all, but how can you say it doesn't compare to college football? In what respect does it not compare? The NFL is far and away the highest-rated sports event in America today. And don't even mention quality of games; NFL teams are MUCH better than NCAA teams and are much more fun to watch. I love Michigan but I don't feel I'm watching the same game when I watch that compared to NFL football.

Fantasy Football. Keeps me interested in any game involving my players. Sometimes my opponents' too.

I just noticed this but I love how Gruden says "this" before saying a player's name. "This guy, Charles Tillman".

What a move on that short little pass inside the 10. Totally set up the defender to get all air. This game is good.

Could the announcers knob slob over McCoy any more? Yeah the guy's a good player, but come on!

They both have helmets with wings. They also manage to lose in games where the matchups are supposed to be the most favorable. They both make me drink.
