what the hell is the outfield supposed to be?
October 4th, 2011 at 9:16 PM ^
existentially?
October 4th, 2011 at 9:33 PM ^
no the design
October 4th, 2011 at 9:36 PM ^
I was wondering that, too. It seems to divide the outfield into what look like two giant home plates, but I'm not sure.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:40 PM ^
They had to replace a big chunk of the outfield grass after a concert this summer. I want to say it was the Stones, but I could be making that up.

The left field looks like one but not the right.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:14 PM ^
Keep the wheels on here rick.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:17 PM ^
Gardner you prick.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:18 PM ^
Beautiful pitch with subtle late movement.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:19 PM ^
Dammit...
October 4th, 2011 at 9:20 PM ^
Jackson, can you please dive for once in your career?
October 4th, 2011 at 9:23 PM ^
Jackson >>> Granderson defensively.
Grandy dives a lot because he has to make up for bad jumps (which he did again in the first inning to the amazement of this ignoramus play-by-play man).
October 4th, 2011 at 9:25 PM ^
Why can't Jackson dive while getting great jumps too?
October 4th, 2011 at 9:21 PM ^
how about backing up a couple steps. that's at least 3 balls this series just out of reach landing on the track. balls should not be landing on the warning track.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:23 PM ^
He needs to start giving his body up. That's the problem.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:23 PM ^
He needs to start giving his body up. That's the problem.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:24 PM ^
If we make it out this series Austin really needs to step his game up. He's been batting horribly and your right. It's like the third time I've seen a ball just drop out of reach with him
October 4th, 2011 at 9:27 PM ^
Don't forget that it's one of the deepest warning tracks in the majors. If you play too deep, you risk giving up the short flies. It's a tough center field to play.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:46 PM ^
but he plays a very shallow CF, which i'm all for. but he's got to be sure he can get back on the balls over his head. that said, i think he's about the best in mlb at going back for a ball. he obviously needs to back up a step or two if balls are dropping on the warning track. different story if they are bouncing off the wall.

damn 2-0 lead for Burnett and he is settled in. not a good combo at all...
October 4th, 2011 at 9:24 PM ^
Does not a dominating performance make.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:23 PM ^
We're fine.
They were up 2-0 on us early last night. And the pitching duel is about as equal as it was last night too.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:25 PM ^
DID MOT GET HIT BY THAT BALL!!

That was a gift run. Should be 1-0

which supposedly to have a magnetic attributes that helps performance.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:34 PM ^
The necklaces have titanium in them and they're supposed to help with performance. There really isn't any proof that they work, though.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:35 PM ^
and sadly burnett is settled in nicely...gotta get to him soon.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:36 PM ^
Bando is really stupid. F him.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:36 PM ^
Porcello should be on a short leash.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:38 PM ^
Swisher just looks like a sweaty cunt.

Or a fly out, or pop out, or strike out, or foul out, or even a shout out. just any kind of out.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:41 PM ^
Hooray!
October 4th, 2011 at 9:41 PM ^
I'll take it happily!
October 4th, 2011 at 9:41 PM ^
Wow, I didn't even know that we are getting no-hit right now.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:45 PM ^
BOOM!!!!
October 4th, 2011 at 9:46 PM ^
haha
October 4th, 2011 at 9:42 PM ^
Am I the only one who thought Ramon beat out the ground ball that Jeter fielded?
October 4th, 2011 at 9:47 PM ^
I thought so too. It looked as if he at least got there at the same time and the tie always goes to the runner.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:54 PM ^
You also notice the Yankee lap dog Darling and boys did not say a word nor did they do a replay.
October 4th, 2011 at 9:43 PM ^

COME ON TIGERS!!!!
October 4th, 2011 at 9:44 PM ^
