The Hoosiers finally joined the commitment party, but Dion Witty decommitted within two days of pledging to Indiana.
...TomVH:
TomVH June will be a good month for Michigan.
So I expect we have several of Tim's "Hello:" posts to look forward to. I'm sure he's prepared.
In indiana's issues right now. That would suck to be a fan of that, new coach, fixed up stadium, same old program. I am looking forward to the days if not competing with them in the standings again.
Rod Smith for one. There is incentive for us to want IU to do well--Smith coached White and Robinson. That said, I'm very glad we maintained our streaks against IU and Minnesota.
The death of Terry Hoeppner was a terrible blow to IU. He was a quality coach who was starting to establish some momentum. Bill Lynch rode that momentum to a bowl appearance, but then drove the train off the tracks.
is outdated, but that's okay. Probably should be permanently embedded there.
I thoroughly enjoyed the inclusion of "Also: HALOL".
Also, if and when the inevitable sledgehammer hits OSU, what are the chances Kyle Kalis takes a look around as Dunn is currently doing? Or is he a diehard Buckeye? Or do we not even care because we are in on a plethora of top-flight OLs?
We will always care about taking a highly ranked recruit away from Blow-hio State!
interesting article from the Dispatch about the effect of OSU's trouble on recruiting.
Doesn't sound like Dunn is waivering as much as previously thought (and I've seen similar interviews with him elsewhere).
Net: recruits are taking a wait and see approach.
This was amusing:
"Not with the kids around here," said Ron Johnson, the Canton McKinley coach, who has a heavily pursued defensive lineman, Se'Von Pittman. "What happens is the guys are always going to judge the value and integrity of a coach and a program as you know it right now. There's such a respect factor for that program and coach Tressel that's so well-established. That's not going to waver."
In my best South Park impersonation..
"Ronald Johnson, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dummmmmb..."
is not exactly a solid commit for them either. clearly below Nebraksa without JJ. Speaking of the Huskers - kinda dicey backup QB situation for them, isn't it?
This is absolutely amazing. If there are two things Hoke does, they're point and drink Dantonio's milkshake.
Penn State really recovered after a slow start and landed some big recruits. Of course when we swipe Jarron Jones from them their class will take a big blow.
Still trying to wait patiently for that silent commit.....or two?
I look forward to seeing O$U's list take a hit in the upcoming weeks with the vest being ousted.
What is the methodology for this ranking? Wisconsin is higher than Michigan in Rivals average, Scout average, 24/7 average and has a higher percentage of recruits on the ESPN watchlist, yet UW is ranked 5th and Michigan 1st.
