Highlights of Game - Discuss
Enough with Gottlieb. Just another talking head. Doesn't matter what he thinks. It matters what this team does.
For me, it had to be STUMANJI throwing down a two handed power slam in a Tennessee defenders face. Who saw that coming. Authority. Just summed up the day for me.
Anything else, I missed. I did miss time from 13:00-9:00 in the second half because my boss wanted to watch the end of the Oakland game.
The boys have to be soaring with confidence after that. They'll bring it all out on Sunday.
Also, only 90% Pure Columbian Awesome. I'll save 100% for Sunday night...
The best part was when we won by 30.
It almost went in.
Other than all of it, how about Stu Douglass throwing it down.
the part where our score kept changing but theirs didn't.
Remember when you forced a high-rebounding team to have few rebounds? That was awesome.
I started to feel pretty good when Michigan drew its second or third charge. Tennessee looked like they didn't know what to do in the face of a disciplined defense. Also, prior to that I was worried that Michigan wasn't going to get any calls today.
span of those seem to contribute a lot to the momentum and add to the Vol implosion. A couple of those looked like they could have gone either way. A potential Michigan-Duke matchup will be a charge fest.
The gameplan seemed to revolve around drawing charges but hey, it worked. Tenn really came unglued once we went up 10 or so, and from then on their defensive effort was atrocious. UM looked like a much, much better coached team than Tenn did.
Where DMo and THJ had amazing layups. Plus when the clock hit 0:00 and we won 75-45.
Highlight for me was watching Beilein outcoach Pearl and watching Pearl sweat as he and his team could not adjust.
agreed.
Highlight of the game was probably Vogrich stealing the ball and finishing over 2 people late in the first half; that's when I started to believe we were going to win the game. The 2nd half was amazing as a whole though, HALOL
how about all those TN off. fouls...huge game changers
Did they fix the poop leak at your work?
Hahaha. Fancy you should bring that up. I hadn't gotten dripped on in ages, and right before the game started, I went in for a constitutional... What do you know, drip... I thought it was a bad omen, but if I have to get dripped on to garner 30 point Michigan wins in the NCAA Tournament, I will take it like a man.
Haha. I always think about that when I see you post. Good times.
My favorite part of the game was probably around 7:00 minutes left. I started to feel bad for the Vols, like how I feel bad everytime we play Eastern Michigan in football. It's fun for a while but then you at least want them to score once, you know, for the kids.
I am with those who liked the Douglass throwdown. The kind of thing that can only happen in a total blowout.
I had a delayed reaction to that play. I watched it happen and then realized, oh shit, that was Stu!
The best part for me was watching the Tennessee players slowly realize they weren't going to win. It started with about 17 min left in the game...
when TIMMMMAAYYYYYY dunked over that kid
dunk off that sweet behind the back pass from Morris was the best highlight for me. That play was the exclamation point, for the blowout in the second half.
Zack knocking down 3s, Stu driving to the hoop, Vogrich inspired play, the Stu dunk. Maybe the best part was seeing the subs get in at the end. In fact, at about the 3 minute mark I was wondering why the starters were still in. I was worried about someonw turning an ankle.
The time where they bricked that wide open 3
the 5 key plays at umhoops.
My guesses:
1) Vogrich 9 first half points
2) the various charges Michigan took
3) Stu Douglas knocking down an nba three and then behind the back pass from DMo after a steal to Stu for the 2 handed slam
4) a montage of offensive rebounding
5) Novak hitting his threes
C'mon it is without question Stu Douglass' throw down, that had some authri-tah!
was watching the game with my Sparty brother, and how quiet he became in the second half.
