i refuse to even consider this a possibility
Maybe I'm a bad person, but considering he's not going to jail public censure seems adequate. I'm mean, the man pulled a whole rack of ribs out his pants.
Couple great threads in a row, looking to keep it going with your favorite advertisements. These could be print ads, TV commercials, general ad campaigns, etc.
What do you love? (Personally, the Subaru Dog Family ones get me every time) What do you hate? (Jan from Toyota- notice they never use numbers? They just say "great on gas" even if the numbers aren't competitive)
New, old, classic... outdatedly hilarious, let's hear the best (and worst) ways you've tried to have been sold a car
My favorite thing is shitty weekend before going back to an even shitter job. Over the past few days I have had the following revelations:
The softball team wasnt that good. They were essentailly a mid-major program that got smushed by the big boys once they made the tournament. Southern schools are king.
Game of Thrones is the dumbest show on television, ever. Incest and dragons, FTW!
Talented HS prospects don't go to satellite camps therefore they are a waste of time.
Jabrill should sit out this year to avoid getting injured.
- Mayweather >>> Ali because he had tougher opponenets and earned more money.
I hate you all.
For those who grew up in the metro-Detroit area, you may recall this commercial from 30 years ago. Enjoy!!

I know many on this board (myself included) really liked aspects of Grantland. Think what you will about Simmons and shark-jumping, but that website produced a lot of really good reads on sports and other stuff (and yes, it produced some crap). I thought it was great that so many younger writers were given free reign and did well. I never thought I'd be reading MTVNews, but so many former Grantlanders whose work I enjoy eneded up there.
Simmons didn't get the whole band back together, but his new website https://theringer.com/ is now live. It looks like most of the content isn't sports related yet (EDIT: The current main article is politics related, FYI), but it'll be intersting to see where this goes.
