I wish we had the ability to drop a QB who had only lost 2 games his collegiate career for someone better ... How does Alabama start true freshmen QBs yet we have the “QB guru” and have to depend on transfers
I blame the fans and a lot of them come from this blog .. They beg to have ND back on the schedule for what ? I don’t know .. they want to play good teams for no reason other than to possibly watch us lose ...I personally want to see blow out the first 3 games I want to see us play SW Alaska , NE Montana , Alabama Central.. We need those games to practice ,to build depth , to gain some confidence in certain units on the team ... We play 4-5 possibly 6 ranked teams in conference schedule we don’t need to play these teams like ND or Army ... Line up the cupcakes
What it does it take away a great D line coach from your rival and before he became a D line coach Mattison was a great D coordinator... I’m not sure how that would reek of desperation... Making your main “rival” weaker
I have said this many times over the Harbaugh years .. It’s 3rd and 4 and instead of running quick 5 yard routes to just get the 1st down we run 15/20 yard routes and what happens sack, incompletion, throw away .. Its been happening since Harbaugh has arrived
I think you can count on freshmen if you are a good coach and put them in position to succeed.. Look at the QBs in the National Championship game .. 1 came in and won the championship as a true freshman.Now another one has got them in the title game ...
If we had a wide open offense we could recruit better QBs but nobody wants to come here and throw 15 passes a game .. These QBs want to be able to put on a show
Stats show that every year he was starting in college he improved.. I’m not sure why you all want to make it seem like he was a bum and Harbaugh turned him into a top QB .. Harbaugh gave him another year and he continued his progression..

2018 the best QB should have started and it wasn’t Shea .. He was gifted the starting job soon as he transferred .. 10-3 we could have went 10-3 with Peters and Dylan .. Dylan and Peters both have better arm strength the ability to stretch the field and are just as mobile .
Ruddock was the same QB he was at Iowa .He just got another year to show his talent .. Speight had 1 average year then regressed.He played with 2 good WRs as well
I could see if he brought in a guy that was way better and helped us win but he brought in a average QB that got us the same record playing Dylan or Peters would have ... Yay Harbaugh :/
We had no idea what Patterson would look like in this offense yet after seeing it I’m sure Dylan and Brandon could have equaled what he did and probably surpassed it... Point being give them a chance instead you recruit them then without giving them a legit shot you bring in someone to replace them

Peters looks best and Dylan is a close second I would probably put Dylan 1st simply because he’s not afraid to run when necessary.. However I do agree both are better than Shea in terms of arm strength and passing ability
Harbaugh doesn’t give his QBs a chance to grow into the position... He went out and got Shea for what ???? To go10-3 we could have went 10-3 or better with Peters or Dylan.. I would have much rather go 10-3 with a RS Freshman who has more talent and would have the next 2+ years to master the offense ...
Guess they can stop calling him the QB guru or QB whisperer ... He’s never been any of that he just got lucky with Andrew and Kaep caught the NFL off guard ...

Better coaching, better scheme, better players... Shea should have never been a 5 star ... Bosa and Gary were both top 5 recruits Bosa has better players around him and they call holding penalties for OSU, DPJ needs a better QB and a offense that throws the ball more than 15 times a game
Scheme and coaching in my opinion .. we recruit better than PSU, NW,MSU, Iowa, Wisconsin probably on par with ND .. OSU recruits better than us .. I mentioned those teams because typically those are the top 25 teams we play with exception of bowl teams .. Bowl teams we recruited better than UF and SC ..FSU recruited better than us ..

There is no ideal QB for Harbaugh.. He needs to find a ideal offense that can thrive in college football
