How is Peoples-Jones not a Dangerman at this point? Dude is a TD waiting to happen every time he touches the ball.

I'm currently living alone in a townhouse that costs $900/month after my housemates moved out on short notice when I was physically unable to move myself.

Just a question - would finding additional housemates be an option? That would definitely help financially and maybe even be good for moral / help around the house. I'm sure there are people on mgoblog looking for a place to live that would know better what your situation is than strangers. Just a thought.

Get well Ace. Appreciate all your work over the years.

Any details on what Solomon has going on? I remember that he had a relatively "routine" surgery earlier this year, but curious as to what is lingering so long.

These are the only two I want to see on the field and only after we've comfortably sealed the game in the 3rd quarter.

Boy, sure would be nice if HTTV had arrived by now... then I could look it up too and not get downvoted for asking these types of questions.

Right now - it's hard to say. Comcast has a deal going (in the SouthEast at least) of 150 Mbps, 140+ channels, plus HBO®, SHOWTIME®, and CINEMAX® included for 12 months for $69.99/month. You'd have to add the sports package which is +$10 (but I've always been able to argue for +$5). That's pretty hard to beat.

I'm holding out on what happens with BTN, but the other option would be just Comcast internet of 150 Mbps for $44.99/mo (or 250 Mbps for $59.99/mo) + YoutubeTV for $40/mo.

08/09/2018 - 10:06pm…

Yep. Buy this (or last years) TLC tv and be done with it.

Just wanted to say congrats! It's awesome that you found such a good way to help mobility and I'm sure all that exercise is great for your health too. Nice looking trike as well.

Some general questions (from someone that has just been blindly following orders):

  1. How does determine orders?
  2. Can we see what "rolls" occur each night? (the equivalent of dice rolling in Risk)
  3. Is there a more thorough explanation to how the game works?

Bought last year's model of theTLC55R617 about a year ago and couldn't be happier. It has built in Roku TV (which is a platform for streaming apps). Netflix, HBOGO, Youtube, Amazon Video... all built in and easy to use.

The TV was name wirecutter's best TV:

Just make sure to update the TV settings to get the best picture:

Every TV needs to have it settings calibrated to look best.

06/01/2018 - 9:42am Come on man...

Why make a fake account and pretend to be soemone else? Just use your mgofish account.

Don't be the next Colangelo and get crucified for doing something so stupid.

05/18/2018 - 10:47am Respectfully Disagree

Ty and Aaron are absolutely fantastic, but there is a reason professional teams from all over the world have come to learn from Clemson's media department. It's also amazing that the majority of work that's done at Clemson is by students.

Just a bit of info:

04/26/2018 - 9:53am Wow...

I wish I was half as passionate about anything in life as WD is about his Michigan Guide.

02/16/2018 - 4:46pm Thanks

Just wanted to thank you, Space Coyote - this is the type of analysis I come to MGOBLOG to read about. I would love to see a whole set of off season articles comparing various aspects of the Offense against other teams.

02/16/2018 - 3:07pm coaching the OL will really

coaching the OL will really be Ed Warriner's sole job

I could be wrong, but it's my understanding that Ed's role this year specifically can NOT be coaching the players in any capacity. He can't actually interact with the players.

02/07/2018 - 10:14am 100% Agree

At this point - we are selling Hope to OL. Kids want to play for a coach/team that has the best chance to put them in the NFL. I don't blame this kid at all.

Look at what we did to Mason Cole - moved him around his whole career because of necessity and likely hurt his peak draft stock. I honestly think untill we get a new OL coach and our team starts consistently putting OL in the NFL we will have trouble recruiting the types of kids we want.

01/04/2018 - 4:15pm Damn

And all those defensive recruits that Michigan wanted and came in 2nd for... too bad the early signing period already happed, because I bet a few would have switched to Don Brown know that this happened.

12/02/2017 - 5:57pm Yes Please

Always pissed me off seeing MSU license plates around Atlanta. Let's make this happen people!

10/06/2017 - 1:30pm 2018... ?!

Seriously, what is the deal with 2018 recruiting? Right now we are expected to lose 2 of our top 3 recruits and it doesn't appear that we are in great position with that many overall top 150 players.

I expected a LOT more out of Harbugh recruiting year 3.

06/01/2017 - 2:14pm Alim McNeill

Dude's a freak. Please, please, please let us get him. I've never seen a guy that big squareup and chase down WR's like that. Absolutely amazing.

05/09/2017 - 9:57am Bought a blender.

Was planning to use it to make healthy smoothies each day... so far it's been used for a healthy amount of pina coladas and margaritas.

So I've got that going for me.

03/29/2017 - 7:49pm Albert Herrnstein, 5-11/168

Hahaha, can you just a imagine a 5-11/168 lb OL lining up accross from Hurst and Gary. Imagine the pure fear in that OL player.

02/06/2017 - 10:45am Good

Glad to see Hoke back to what he does best - find exceptional talent at DL and coach them up. Wish we could get Hoke back when GM retires. I think this was a great move by Tennessee.

11/14/2016 - 11:30am No!

The thought of our CB's trying to tackle Fournette scares the shit out me.

11/08/2016 - 5:32pm Much more than ACL

'He was admitted the day of injury'

This alone means that it was much more serious than an ACL. Hell, the standard isn't even to operate on a torn ACL for a few weeks after injury.

11/07/2016 - 2:18pm How big are they?

Serious question (and sorry if I missed you already posting this) but how large are these 'mini helmets'? Can you put them in a picture with something else as a frame of reference? Look great though.

10/10/2016 - 10:04pm Correct

Yes, there is a tragic backstory. NO, that should not be brought up here.

09/28/2016 - 7:10pm And...

Has all the intangibles to now be a contributing NFL receiver. Yeah, I'd take that too.

09/28/2016 - 11:51am Damn

My roomate and I have a $100 bet as to who goes higher in their respective NFL Drafts - Dexter Lawrence or Rashan Gary.

09/22/2016 - 6:26pm Ladies... we call that the

Ladies... we call that the "triple threat".

09/22/2016 - 5:35pm Holy shit.

How did I possibly miss that tweet. Anybody have a link?

09/21/2016 - 3:33pm Barkley and Sanders

What a waste of top end RB talent at PSU. Man, either of those guys would flourish under Harbaugh...

09/02/2016 - 2:38pm Nope

Wormley is basically a lock for a pre-4th round draft. Expect him to be a monster this year.

09/02/2016 - 1:34pm Hurst

Why is Hurst shown in Red (Injured)? I must have missed that note, but hopefuly it's not serious.

08/23/2016 - 6:10pm Hey buddy -

He said "you could add one". This isn't OSU... we actually have rules around here.

08/18/2016 - 2:35pm Pepper Outside?

Is Peppers always designed to cut inside the block? I wonder how many yards he could have gained if he instead cut to the outside?

08/12/2016 - 1:58pm Wow

"The funding is earmarked for artificial intelligence research specifically, and follows similar investments and facilities at Stanford near the Institute’s Palo Alto HQ, and in Cambridge, where Toyota has a similar research agreement with MIT."

Always nice when UofM is in the company of MIT and Stanford. Leaders and Best!

07/22/2016 - 10:12am PLEASE LISTEN

Don't by the clubs, one-by-one. That is foolish and will end up costing you more money in the long run. On the flip side, don't go out and buy a custom fitted set of nice clubs that you 'think' will last you forever.

Look on craigslist,, and callaway used and find yourself a decent set of used clubs. Golf clubs are like luxury cars, their value drops exponentially after they are used and there are tons of people that spend tons of money on a new set each year (basically selling their barely used clubs from last season for a fraction of the original cost).

Do your research and find a 'game-improvement' set of clubs. These are clubs that are geared towards someone learning to playgolf, but will work for many years to come. The heads of the clubs are gennerally larger and they will be more forgiving on miss-hits. You should be able to find a decent set of irons (4-pw) for ~$250. Much better to spend that amount now then getting a super shitty pair from Wallmart which will break or you'll outgrow in a year.

Go to a golf store (if possible) and ask to try out some of these clubs. Golfsmith and simular stores will let you try out clubs for free on a simulator. Just have to ask and tell the employee you are looking for a 'game improvement' set of irons. But you're not good at hitting yet and shank a bunch of shots in the simulator? Doesn't fucking matter. You're just there to figure out which set of irons look and feel good to you. Becuase everyone has a different opinion on what is best. Ping, Titleist, Cobra, Taylormade, Callaway - they all make good clubs. Comes down to preference 100%. Ping G25, Taylormade SLDR, Titleist AP1 - these are all previous year models that are widely praised for being durable and performing above their price range so a good place to start.

Driver, 3 wood, hybrids, wedges - get them all second hand if possible. Have an ucle or friend who never plays anymore? Perfect. Ask if you can use his for a while. If that doesn't work, eBay and have been the best deals for me. The irons you already bought should give you plenty of time to improve while you look for good deals on these other clubs.

Last but not least - if you really are serious about getting better, spend the money and get a lesson from a certified instructor. Do you research on golf websites and find someone worth the money (becuase it will be more than you think). Don't use your girlfriends, friend's, brother who has been playing for a few years for $20. Get a real lesson.

Even just 2 lessons with a good instructor will help you more than 100 range sessions when starting out.

Good luck and have fun!

07/20/2016 - 11:53am Pace Academy

One thing to note is that Salyer's school, Pace Academy, is hands down one of the top private schools in Atlanta. It's tuition is that of a college ($20k+ a year) and it is known for having an extremely successful acedemic program.  Pace is really are not known at all for their sports prowess and there are a number of other private schools around Atlanta that have much more successful football programs. Hopefully Michigan's acedmics will really appeal to Salyer and his family.

07/10/2016 - 3:03pm It is only worth getting

It is only worth getting fitted if you have a consistent swing. As players get better their stance and posture will improve.
