It seems like they could do something like look at a recruit's financial need for upfront NIL. Some families are in a good enough place financially where they could wait a year or two before the big NIL money rolls in, while for others an upfront deal might be a legitimate family need.
^^ This ^^. I've seen it happen it business. Every large company has a risk management group that weighs all the pros and cons of every highly public situation to determine what will have the most positive/least negative impact on the entire organization. I think that's what happened here.

The only problem with 4) is stainless steel is prone to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. Until they stop using salt on the roads stainless steel isn't that great of a solution. But it won't rust!
I was there in 2002. Only thing missing was some footage of state troopers spraying teargas in the endzones to keep fans away from the goalposts. They eventually ran out of teargas.

We lost some territories but gained a region, which gave us a huge jump in star power. For the long game it was a net win. If we can control a second region we would have an overwhelming star advantage. That's why it's currently Michigan vs everyone else. Hopefully enough rogues will see this recap and attack/defend where crg suggests.
For you rogues I give the same advice as yesterday (smash Bucky) with 1 additional observation: we need one more territory (Annapolis) to own the Mid-Atlantic region outright and gain another strength multiplier. The current owner of Annapolis? (an)OSU! 'nuff said.
If you're a rogue (I'm not) I would say either attack Wisconsin-held territories or defend territories bordered by Wisconsin. We're trying to take and hold regions so we get a star multiplier for the next turn.
Same. And I've discovered that no matter what I wear, whether I hang my M flag or not, whether I sit with my left or right leg crossed when we're on offense or defense, etc. we win! I'm free I tell you! Freeeeee!!!
And the Wolverines are winning today, regardless of what I do!
