12/04/2017 - 8:36pm Duncan Robinson

Not a Division 1player. Unwatchable.

10/13/2017 - 10:39pm Good stuff

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving program.

08/21/2017 - 11:05am Walking on Sunshine

Oh wait, I don't think I grasped this properly.

11/11/2016 - 5:44am Who's got it better than us?

Seriously, who?

12/01/2015 - 8:36pm Dawkins

His de-evolution is remarkable.

12/01/2015 - 8:28pm Irvin

Liability at both ends right now.

09/26/2015 - 2:22pm Read harbaugh's lips

On fourth and sixteen???

01/04/2015 - 7:50am The Cass Tech pipeline

Huckleby, Greer, and Seabron, are all from CT.

08/04/2014 - 5:52pm I recall it as "Dime Night"

I thought it was one day a week.  Mondays maybe?

04/11/2014 - 8:42am Take advantage of the nice weather

Some yard work, screens in for storm windows, maybe even wash the cars. Boring, but satisfying... It was a LONG winter (well not by GOT standards, but you know what I mean).

04/05/2014 - 8:54pm Calipari has no credibility.

He had the audacity to claim that their last shot against us went off just as he "drew it up" in the timeout. "Take a long three, they won't guard you ". I call bullshit.

03/07/2014 - 1:33pm That's nothin'

You should see MY sub ate speed.

02/20/2014 - 6:27pm "Hoke, the J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach"

Awkward and ridiculous, looking and sounding.

01/27/2014 - 10:40am Pipin's migraine

yeah, right.

01/09/2014 - 7:42am Don't have room in this class???

Since he is coming from Alabama, someone will likely have to explain this concept to Nuss.

01/05/2014 - 9:04am Live from Chicago...

It is coming,  Bang me.

12/20/2013 - 8:29am It's worse than you think...

6'6" and 325 lbs.  Ouch.

12/14/2013 - 1:42pm That ankle issue

Will be tough on their big fella.

12/14/2013 - 1:39pm There's a box out

Reward is a one and one

12/13/2013 - 12:26pm Go military academy...

How do you root against either?  These kids are a special breed.  You have to really want it to get into any of the academies these days.

12/13/2013 - 8:08am A broken GI Joe

Then he would tell you that you did not execute playing with it correctly.

12/12/2013 - 11:45am Seconding that thought

Always enjoyed Twitterverse summary

12/12/2013 - 7:44am Nice work AC1997

Thank you for the effort required to complete this.  It will make a nice reference tool.  I agree with most of your comments, except on Bosch.  Burning his redshirt seems like a huge gaffe, given his likely downstream contributions.  It is difficult for me to imagine that his practice performance made him irrepressible.  It feels like the coaching staff was grasping at straws trying to stop the bleeding up front.   Hindsight makes this easy to criticize, but they are paid to make difficult decisions, and need to be held accountable for short term failures that hurt the program long term.  Particularly true when the attempt is such an abject failure.

12/11/2013 - 7:19pm Crap! I am always too late to these things.

And I have the point total to prove it.

12/11/2013 - 5:46pm Thank you Brian

Looking forward to seeing the impact on the board.

Can't vote yet, but if I type about 60 thank you notes.... hmmm.

10/16/2013 - 8:39am He has a nervous habit when on camera...

He is picking at or rubbing something during every interview.  Usually it is on his face.  It is incredibly distracting and a bit disturbing.

I offer no accompagning psychoanalysis with this observation, but there is plenty to speculate about (smile).

10/15/2013 - 4:02pm I tend to disagree...

That play the Florida receiver made was not nearly as stupid as Gardner's pick six against ND, given the scores, players' natural positions, and the relatively likelihood of success, not to mention the consequence of failure.

No contest here.

09/25/2013 - 9:03am All Brian actually did was ban that user name...

and all the inflated self-worth and perceived bullying power that goes with the points associated with the user name.  He is likely already posting under a different user name. Given his style of posting, it will soon be obvious.

09/05/2013 - 7:43am Poor Lions Fan

Never needs any explanation.

08/30/2013 - 8:45am Thank you

Fantastic job.  This is why I come to read at MGoBlog.  This is why I come to MGoBlog.

08/27/2013 - 10:55pm if one of them gets arrested or benched...

we will find out that their captaincy was not a committable offer.

08/26/2013 - 2:23pm Well written piece here...

I love how Brian captures his thoughts and turns them loose in intelligent, mature, and entertaining prose, with downright hilarious high brow metaphors.  I too REALLy appreciate the stability and vision that Brady et al have positioned the program in, with enough short term success, more than enough long potential, and doing it eminently likeable characters (Michigan Men).

For a glimpse of what I consider the opposite this, watch a replay of ESPN's "Sunday Conversation" from yesterday.  Chris Fowler interviewed Urban Meyer.

Ohio can have him.  If that is what it takes to win... no thanks.

08/26/2013 - 8:18am Thank you Brian...

It must be very difficult to make time to do this, particularly at this time of year.  I thoroughly enjoy all your UFRs and breakdown/insight.  Even when it means dredging up my marginally suprressed rage over officiating and play calling, your verification and validation is strangely soothing.  Go Blue!

08/23/2013 - 10:55am Male, 49, married with two kids

UM BS '86.  Grew up in Detroit.  Played football at Cass Tech (just after Greer, Hucklebee, Seabron, and Smith) and then Westland John Glenn (just after Carr left to coach for Bo). Married with two kids.  Environmental Consultant specializing in petroleum remediation/clean up.  I am a lifelong UM fan.  I was telling people when I was six years old that I was going to Michigan.  Never applied anywhere else.  Never regretted this one bit.  It was everything I thought it could be and would be.  Go Blue!

Oh, almost forgot... right handed.

08/23/2013 - 8:28am Thank you Brian for the effort required to complete this

I really enjoy (and later apply) the insight you provide in the UFRs.  It is obviously laborious, but the result is always terrific.  It is one of the many many reasons I am a big fan of you and your site.  Gratitude.

08/01/2013 - 7:35am Shame on you...

That's racist!

07/17/2013 - 2:23pm Have subs...

it will be crazy1

06/28/2013 - 9:05am 30 bicycle seats...

that will NEVER be the same.

03/06/2013 - 9:41am Seconded

Beyond awkward after the first time the interviewer mentioned it.  Kudos to Devin for not acknowledging the dumb aspects...

02/27/2013 - 1:48pm Dreaming of one more year...

Taylor Lewan renewed my faith in humanity.

01/22/2013 - 11:53am Did one of those guys just make fun of "slap the flag" ?

Hopefully not the same as touch the banner on the way onto the field...

01/18/2013 - 7:07pm T. Lewan and T. Gordon

I think that two is enough.  One from each side of the ball.

12/25/2012 - 10:49am Authentic Winged Helmut

From my wife and kids. Best part... She ordered the Schutt, like Denard wears. Not because the Schutt is that much cooler, but because SHE knew the difference. I am blessed.

12/06/2012 - 9:02pm Many thanks

From an appreciative iPhone user!

08/29/2012 - 3:29pm Hmmmm... like maybe

05/29/2012 - 2:01pm Isn't trying too hard the point of those skits?

"I take a zoomba class... I can dance kick him."

05/03/2012 - 9:06am I can never get past...

would rather see Michigan lose a game to an opponent, even when a Michigan win would help State in pursuit of a Championship. "I just can't root for scUM..."

04/30/2012 - 8:47am 79-80 Draft

Cass Tech pipeline proudly on display.  Seabron, Huckleby and Greer, all former Technicians.  They played with Roosevelt Smith, a Michigan tailback from that same CT team.  I have mentioned this on the board before, but that CT team didn't even win the PSL championship that year.  Ralph Clayton (future Michigan slotback, and fellow draftee) was running wild as the Redford tailback and beat that loaded Cass Tech team.  In those days, only the top team from each Region made the playoffs, so the Technicians did not make the dance.  I still find that amazing.
