I mean at least let Dwight's back heal, and Nash to comeback. Damn they must not like this guy at all! WOnder who its gonna be next

11/04/2012 - 1:47am DG12 was ballin!

He also had guys like Tree and Gallon making plays around him which made it great. Defense was solid. With respect to recruiting and WR prospect Treadwell I think Gardner answered a valid question for the passing game next year today! Great 180 this week and congrats to a true Michigan Man!

04/10/2012 - 10:04pm Sweet!

Since his nickname is "The Freak" can we get some people who know how to embed pics

put in some Rick James pics.

03/24/2012 - 12:40pm lf this does not

show the athleticism of our recruits, I do not know what does. This is awesome. DL and OL guys that play hoops.

03/24/2012 - 12:38pm I wish DJ Cooper

would've been the DJ Cooper we saw in the first round. He had a real rough night with decision making. All in all that coach is headed for a big time job if he keeps up the coaching that he's doing. Does Illinois have a coach yet? He has to be in consideration for the job. Did anyone see the locker room meetings and in-game interviews he had? Very promising coach who is a spitting image (coach-wise) of Thad Matta.

03/24/2012 - 12:33pm This years recruiting

Looks like a class that you have on NCAA Football 12 on XBOX

03/24/2012 - 12:31pm Saw the Hello

And was like, what up Mr Isaac! Calling in a commit to UM live from Pasadena would be awesome. All u need after that is call-ins from Poggi, Vanderdoes, Cravens, and Treadwell. Dreaming this early in the day is hazardous to your health!

03/24/2012 - 12:27pm fans at michigan are fickle???

Fans are always fickle when a back office or personal decision is made that impacts their team negatively. Its called fierce loyalty. DMo's decision was his decision. IMO its pretty sweet when you watch the NBA draft and see your PG going to the Lakers, regardless hes in the D-League now. Manny Fresh went back to D-League and is now with the Cavs again. It sucks when fans have to document (forever) their feelings towards a player like DMo. It hurts when your best players leave. Just ask Kentucky, their entire starting lineup will probably end up in the NBA by the end of their Sophomore year if not this year. I hope Trey stays but if I were him I would strongly consider it too, especially if I made 2nd Team All-American. I think were all mad we lost to Ohio and he is such a good player that he might leave when we were just getting back to being nationally recognized. How about trust that your Coach is going to keep making it happen an wish these guys the best. I mean DMo leaves, he gets Trey and now he goes out to Nevada looking at a possible replacement/depth guy for Trey in Della Valle. All Im saying is SHOW SOME LOVE!

03/22/2012 - 10:44pm usually

you let off fireworks and light couches on fire when you win...that is just stupidity with a capital T!

03/22/2012 - 4:08pm I thought the

Vanderdoes kid would play DT, arent we recruiting him? Nobody mentioned his name here. Hes the Cali DT who's HS team sports the Winged helmet.

03/21/2012 - 11:50pm Since this is about

Positive posts. Am I alone in saying that whoever dogs Devin Gardner (unless he were to throw 4 picks or fumble 5 times in a game) should get banned from posting. Heres a guy who, IMO, should've transferred already to get playing time somewhere else with Denard being the QB. Instead of outlashing about it he stays the course, remains humble, and goes to work everyday. Total Michigan Man! Call me crazy but I believe he is the most versatile player  on the roster. I know I am a lowly poster on here and dont know much about coaching, but he has got to see the field more this year, and if that is at WR then do it! You cannot tell me he is not one of the best 11 we have on offense. Go Blue

03/21/2012 - 11:30pm Unpredictable

situation. IMO Trey should stay. Most with his size and skill set are hard to get a read on for the NBA since there are so many great players. I do believe if he were 6'1, 6'2 this would not be a thread about him coming or staying, he would be gone. Man if I were him I'd be crunched. Your dream is right there before you and you have roughly 2-3 weeks to make a decision that could decide your fate. On the other hand, you have to opportunity to come back and play alongside a team that I think (with him involved) could make a run at the Final 4. Getting to the Final 4 with another solid season would definately increase your chances of becoming a solid 1st Round Pick. Prediction based on alot of variables considered: 85% chance he stays.

03/21/2012 - 3:56pm Well I liked Smotz

game, but I am more siked about the offseason developments with Horford and McLimans. Mc can hit the three and horford puts on another ten to fifteen and he is gonna be a force down low. his injury had to be closely related to his bigtime added weight last offseason. If you put Mc in the weight room for another 10-15 like Horford coupled with McGary and Morgan and our biggest weakness becomes a strength. Couple that with Trey, THJ, Vogrich, GRIII, and Stauskas (who should see the video if u dont believe) and you have a Big Ten Champion caliber team who should be better than this years squad. I cant wait. FWIW though, I hope all the best for Smotz, he will surely be missed.

03/21/2012 - 1:41pm Hey Roll Damn Tide

How about a little insight on the reason why Poggi might not be a good fit (in his eyes)? If you get time.

03/21/2012 - 1:39pm This is funny

considering this guy is probably the first one to actually get caught doing it.2 Draft picks, 500K, not really a killer when you have that great of a QB. Looks like Drew is gonna get that contract extension now if he hasnt already.

03/20/2012 - 7:12pm Zeller???

They have to be talking about big bro! If you want to be that big in the NBA with no jumpshot, you need more strength and weight.

03/20/2012 - 7:10pm Like Sullingers Game

and hope he leaves but why no discussion of deshawn thomas. Has anybody been watching college basketball lately? That kid is lights out. I hope he goes before Sullinger.

03/20/2012 - 7:07pm I read someone

say that Michigan States procombats were ugly. I thought they were pretty nasty. What was awful was our road unis that day. It pains me to say this but I liked em. It doesnt matter what uniform you wear as long as Chip Kelly is there though. The recruits they bring in now will account for there games then and to my knowledge they are not going to be getting the quality recruits they have been getting since Brady took over.

03/20/2012 - 4:07pm FWIW

I would love to get a shot at USC in the Big House when Sugar Shane and Hopefully Ty Isaac are two years in the system. It would be about time that we see them in the Big House, especially for a night game.

03/19/2012 - 12:51pm Gotta root 4

the Bobcats, Wolfpack, Wisky, and Indiana. They actually now have a legitimate shot with Marshall going down. Being from Ohio and a Michigan fan its easy to root against TSIO but I always had an affinity for OU. I think it stinks that NC State is in the same regional, I also like them right now. They match up well with everyone cause of their size and defense. Wisky and Indiana would help the B1G show out by knocking off 1 seeds so of course.

03/18/2012 - 1:05am Not to be a douche

but wtf is upvoting and downvoting and how do you do that?

03/18/2012 - 1:02am Want Both RB's

Great teams are able to have this work. Wisconsin, Oregon, LSU, Alabama, USC. Throughout history all the good running games have all had more than one. Having two top 7 backs with a power back(Shallman-Peyton hillis type hopefully) and Norfleet (SLOT-just think Tavon Austin from West Virgina when they scored 70). Would love to have Gayle Sayers (Isaac) and Demarco Murray (Smith) in the backfield for the Maize n Blue. By the way Demarco Murray went pro and has a nice 4 yr/2.97mil deal with a 600K signing bonus. Man Smith runs just like him.

03/16/2012 - 4:24pm Will he

get the chance to play right away? Dont we play them in 2012?

03/16/2012 - 4:23pm Coach for Alabama I thought

made a ill-timed call on the timeout with 2.2, sometimes you gotta let the energy of March Madness flow and let your guy go with the ball and I am surprised he didnt call the timeout with 4.5 to go to set it up. Seems like he has to live and learn but he'll probably be back, good coach all year long.

03/16/2012 - 4:20pm I think one of the reasons

that Georgetown is a 3 and Michigan a 4 is because the Ohio rematch. I am happy we have the 4 though cause I would rather play North Carolina than I would Kansas.

03/13/2012 - 2:35pm Significant

but not as much as a Hensonless Carolina team would be. I already had Wisky in the 8 regardless of Melo or not. Bo Ryan knows how to win a few games in the tourney and you have to have some upsets. You dont have Henson for the 2nd round matchup and a team like Creighton could shock and awe especially with their ability to score.

03/12/2012 - 2:03am I would

hold out for Isaac no matter what. Ty Isaac gives me comparisons of Darren McFadden when he was at Arkansas. Total game changer but can split out to WR unlike anything I have ever seen. Sometimes you have to be patient and take a risk by doing nothing. Be secure in the fact that this is Michigan. This is obsurd to be a supposed leader for this savage of a talent to let him possibly get away. DO NOT LET THIS ONE GO!! He is the type of player that makes OC's more innovative in their ability to call games and can you imagine having the Original Innovator himself, Big AL, calling games with this talent. OUCH for opposing DC's.

03/10/2012 - 9:44pm Someone on here posted about Justice Hayes

Is there any chance a player with his athleticism can move out to Slot? It would be a solution to the lack of athleticism we have out there next year. It would also be something that Alabama wouldnt see coming.

03/10/2012 - 9:41pm I dont understand

why this kid is not in the top 5 overall for every recruiting service. Has anyone seen his film. Absolute beast!

03/09/2012 - 7:12pm that was a shit call

on the travel by novak

03/09/2012 - 7:10pm Thank goodness

Mr Burke is in town and great Beilein with the 2-3 switchups

03/09/2012 - 3:34pm man no faith

he has to break down that much film cause he knows, like i would, that his defense lost alot of key players with veteran experience and when you have alot of younger, newer players you have to play A ball to beat an opponent like Michigan, especially the first game of the season. Their 27-11 game at PSU last year was a totally different dynamic sense PSU had the worst QB play they've had in a long time last year and their D was so nasty. Just a little list of who is gone from that team: Kirkpatrick-CB, Barron-S, Gentry-DT, Upshaw-DL, Hightower-Hybrid LB. I dont care who you are that is too much veteran talent to replace and the sad part is I am sure I missed another one on D. Not to mention Maze and Richardson on O. They should be worried! As should we cause its Alabama.

03/09/2012 - 9:39am There are too many scenarios here

Win tonight and we are a three. Thats good enough for me considering the huge waves we made this year. I think that any seed from 2 through 4 will happen and it doesnt really matter because when it comes to the NCAA tournament anything can happen. 10 and 7 seeds beat 2's in the second round quite frequent in the men's tourney. And the relatively close comparisons of 4/5 and 3/6 matchups in the second round are always fun to watch so whatever we get it will not be as easy beyond the first round.

03/07/2012 - 8:35pm its going to be like this

all year long. Personally I think its awesome. Its Hokemania running wild at you! And oh yeah Urban revival

03/07/2012 - 4:52pm I got

Wisconsin and Michigan final. Am I talking about the 2012 football title game, no but those are my predictions for both games.

03/06/2012 - 9:25pm Oh the war games

Oh the war games of recruiting, twitter, and the modern era! Im just glad that we are in on so many prospects right now. Lets not forget these great words, "Those that stay will be champions"!

03/06/2012 - 8:54pm Loved braylons game

and I can understand his loyalty, in fact I love it but I have seen tape on Isaac and I take him first. Sorry B, but my gameplan for manball suggests taking the 6'3" 220 lb game changer right now.

03/06/2012 - 6:38pm Their offense usually does not

scare anyone. Its their defense that scares everyone! and from what I can tell they will be looking to fill some big voids from big time veterans. This is where we have a chance

03/06/2012 - 6:35pm I think an exception

would be if one of our linebackers in a current class ends his career by medical hardship or moves positions. That would add a spot right? dont ask me who this would be but just a scenario that could happen by the end of the year.

03/05/2012 - 11:23pm He is a great player

We should all welcome the commit! Just as we should all top talent. I mean here is how I see it. If there are 22 kids coming into this class and we get all of them in the top 250 (wishfu but not likely if you look at all teams 4 stars for last year alonel) I think that is over the top lights out. Or better yet here are some numbers. 250 recruits. 25 teams in the mix (hypothetical) you average out that each team gets 10, we already have eleven in the top 200. So yeah I will jump for joy if McCray commits. Why? Well as it stands right now rivals has us with the following haul: Bosch (60), Butt (96), Charlton (183), Dawson (199), Fox (46), Kugler (54), Lewis (167), Morris (16), Shallman (160), Thomas (77), LTT (109). This is Michigansanity baby!!! We are already a top 5 recruiting class.....again!!! Stay positive by saying positive things and not this player is better than that player cause I dont know about anyone else but I am not a recruiting analyst, only a logical one.

03/05/2012 - 5:14pm I think we are all

blessed as fans to be in this situation. Whatever is in the water in tree city I want some at my house!!! For what its worth (IMO from buzz logic) I think we are about to see 2-3 Hello posts on this board by weeks' end. Should be a fantastic week!

03/05/2012 - 4:33pm Sorry

If I left out any of the GBW or MgoBlog guys I just followed Sam and Ace on twitter yesterday so their names are fresh.

03/05/2012 - 4:31pm They come in pairs right!

Whos the two? Its recruiting world so I have no guess. I mean I am not Sam, Ace, or anyone of the other good guys! All I know is its good for us!

02/29/2012 - 11:17pm damn

this is the first time im reading this. This kid is a stud. I dont need to be an analyst to understand that a kid in the top 20 is one that should be offered by even universities in Russia. Lol. Go Blue EJ!

02/29/2012 - 10:59pm Gotta agree with Aqua

This is a two time national champion coach, who evidently has two of his former QBs currently starting in the NFL and who made big plays in the NFL playoffs. We should just worry about the haul at UM. Our fast start opens up options for other kids to play at other schools, but I do hope your wrong about him knowing what he's doing.

02/27/2012 - 7:39pm Personally

Let Hoke do Hoke and TCIO do TCIO. I love the way that we are recruiting, which is locking down a top class of OL to set up a big time back (hopefully Isaac-insane video, size, and speed) and get bigger at wideout, while getting ten times better with our depth at LB and other spots. I just love talking about Michigan football, and threads like this are just a big who cares, especially for someone who did not even have an offer.

02/27/2012 - 3:24pm Nice

I feel its a little high but definately worthy. They always say the last game sets the tone for the next season and matching up #7 against a potential #1 should be great to start the season.

02/27/2012 - 2:36pm At first...

I was thinking absolutely not but with today's recruiting it is a necessary evil that comes with recruiting. On one hand you have to worry about guys like "TCIO" (that coach in Ohio) nabbing recruits at the last minute and on the other missing out on a 5* recruit. Would I invite him? Not at this point and especially after the commitment to the program that these five kids have shown. Hoke is doing what he said he wanted to do which is go after kids in the Midwest which is how the old regimes at Michigan were successful. So the real questions should be situational and not just because he is a 5*. Like, do I go after a Florida 5* or 5 4* kids that really want to be here, with one of them being a top 50. You cant stop a kid from coming, but you dont have to accept his commitment. Yes its a grey area but letting a kid know that you can come in but right now we dont have a spot for you seems to be okay with me. IMO, you have to keep the lines of communication open with everyone because recruiting is a National War that ends in February each year and not when a kid verbally commits throughout the year.

02/22/2012 - 8:29am heck yeah

i was thinking the same thing

02/18/2012 - 9:38pm I prefer

Dos Equis. Great Day Hoke and Co.
