I'm right here with you mGrow, I'm a firm believer in leaving well enough alone. Spending way less time on the new site.

06/13/2018 - 1:39pm Site doesn't seem to work…

Site doesn't seem to work with Chrome. Get a totally different experience with Explorer.

06/13/2018 - 1:37pm Thought it was just me. I…

Thought it was just me. I feel so much better now.

05/10/2018 - 1:27pm Maybe not

Lebron's similarly athletic to MJ but with superior size and that is his advantage. It is extremely hard to be more athletic than Michael Jeffrey Jordan.

05/10/2018 - 1:19pm One on One

One on One, LBJ has the edge as half court favors the larger player (Kareem beat Dr J 12-7 though Doc was clearly more athletic). Mentally MJ has the edge as he never checked out in the finals the way LBJ did vs. Dallas the 1st year with the Heat(rumored because teammate Delonte West was seeing LBJ's mom).

05/10/2018 - 1:14pm True

It's all about context. Almost Every team had a superstar back then-Celtics had Bird, Hawks had Domenique, Pistons had Zeke, Sixers had Dr J & Barkley, Heat had Zo, Rockets had the Dream and the Glide, Lakers goes without wasn't just 2 or 3 teams with all the great players

05/04/2018 - 2:46pm Shot

If Matthews had his shot we win it all.

05/03/2018 - 11:18am Passover

Hoke passed over 3*Zeke Elliot for Green likely based on starzzz. I thought I was really ignorant and couldn't see the talent when watching Green's hs film. Guess my eyes didn't deceive me.

05/03/2018 - 11:12am Pep again

He lacked the awareness of Wood. If he had gotten his head around more, he approaches double digit career int many of which would have been game changers. But its hard to be great any one thing when you're asked to do everything.

05/03/2018 - 11:06am We miss Pep

We miss Pep. That 2016 team was wasted.

05/03/2018 - 10:59am Stockton

Still wasn't as good as Zeke who torched him for 40 after the Dream Team snub thanks to Jordan/Bird.

05/03/2018 - 10:47am You've got to be kidding

Steph & Harden will not surpass Kobe at any point. Steph just turned 30 and plays on an artificially constructed team while Harden is no where near as talented as Kobe.

05/03/2018 - 10:43am TB12

What would Brady look like on the Lions? Lions are where qb & coaches go to die. The organization suffers from a lack of leadership.

05/03/2018 - 10:36am 15?

There are absolutely not 15 players better than Kobe Bean Bryant!

05/03/2018 - 10:31am AI

Stood next to him at a party-AI is a legit 6' and one of the greatest little men to play the game.

03/09/2018 - 10:49am That

You think maybe the OL had something to  do with Speight's hesitation and decline? When confidence in protection is lost the mental becomes a mess and the internal clock speeds up unneccessarily.

03/09/2018 - 10:45am Durability & Speight

Almost any qb would lack durability with last year's pass pro. So that means Peters has questionable durability too?

03/09/2018 - 10:42am PEP

Is he still getting a mill to be qb coach?

03/09/2018 - 10:39am FWB

FWB is a good thing

03/06/2018 - 3:08pm Exposure

Virtually everyone exposed to media is biased in some way. Often it is subconscious. Take the Implicit bias test developed by Harvard researchers. People are in disbelief after taking it.

03/06/2018 - 3:03pm Woody

I read that between takes they lowered the rim so Woody would have a better chance of flushing it and he still couldn't do it.

03/06/2018 - 3:01pm Converation

Maybe part of the problem is more conversations need to be had.

03/06/2018 - 2:59pm Outliers

Outliers exist.

03/06/2018 - 2:58pm Stereotypes

Ah, but what is the root of the stereotype? American blacks generally underperform whites academically from systems designed to oppress one group and uplift another. It was once illegal/deadly for blacks to be literate so lower class black culture came to not value educational achievement.

Bet you didnt' know Nigerians living in America do just as well scholastically as whites?  Bet you also didn't know that affirmative action prevents asians from comprising 70% of Harvard's student body. Different cultures. Exclusion caused lower class black culture to evolve separately and distinctly from the mainstream which is why in many ways it is opposite. The wire touches on this theme. I could go on but there've been many omissions throughout history because a narrative needed to be maintained.

03/04/2018 - 1:22pm most hated athletes

Saw a list of the 5 most hated athletes and just about all were black. I remember seeing TO, Ocho cinco, and of course Michael Vick-maybe Mayweather too. People hate the flashy cockiness but I think it makes the game more fun. It is just a game. Ali was probably the originator.

03/04/2018 - 1:15pm Zeke & Bird

Pound for pound, I'd take Zeke. Chuck Daly said if Isaiah was 6'5" he'd be best in the world. Dr J also called him the best little man in the game.

02/25/2018 - 11:12am Vibranium

Let's get the team some vibranium. Not on the banned substance list ist it?

12/12/2017 - 1:36pm What we've done

Harbaugh finished #10 in the country year 1 and #6 year 2. 90% of the teams would kill for those results. Funny how the trolls always point out 3rd in the BIG east but fail to see the positive. OSU didn't win the BIG either but went to the playoffs.

People point out the negative to get a reaction; similar to the way the weatherman gives the windchill factor in January but not the benefit of the cool breezes in July.

You sound like Valenti.

12/08/2017 - 11:37am What a music historian you are

Have you been watching Behind the music or Unsung?

12/07/2017 - 2:13pm Bullets

@successfulQuon was a motherhubbard. We may have dodged a bullet.

12/07/2017 - 11:22am Scheduling ND game 1 on the road

That would be the former occupant of the "Ever After" mansion. This after the last game was played at their place. Brandon was unbelievalbly inept.

12/07/2017 - 11:17am Cabs

Are they still a thing?

12/07/2017 - 11:15am Right

That's a good thing as we've been held back by lack of qb scrambling ability in tight games where the O has stalled. OSU qb's have been killing us for years(Troy Smith, TP, Braxton, Barret) with this very tactic.

12/07/2017 - 11:11am Patterson is a must take

Current/future players being affected is a non-issue since Harbaugh does not want players who shy away from competition as those guys fold when the ish gets deep and you're counting on them the most.

Do they not think there'll be competition on Sundays?

12/07/2017 - 11:04am Lit

Like a Xmas tree at Times Square during a total eclipse.

12/07/2017 - 11:01am Recruits?

Are they getting this message? Does not seemt to be resonating.

12/07/2017 - 10:59am Happy new year

We deserve nice things

12/07/2017 - 10:57am Musky it is

His cars are awesome though.

12/05/2017 - 11:39am Differ

NBA unis allow a better look at players and the continuous close up camera shots during free throws, after fouls etc. along with a court where you can virtually reach out and touch players create a more "accessible"game.

Contrast this with heavily padded NFL players and cavernous stadiums where without jersey names/ numbers, you couldn't tell one guy from the next. Because of all of the above, NBA personalities show through more and there are far fewer of them so fans may develop a stronger connection. This is probably why the NBA promotes superstars and the NFL promotes teams.

TLDR: NBA players are more visible/recognizable

12/05/2017 - 11:30am MJ

Dumars admitted there were no real Jordan rules and he was the guy tasked with slowing him.

12/05/2017 - 11:26am Curry Bros.

Are you talking about Seth or his more famous bro Steph? I'll guess Steph.

12/01/2017 - 3:15pm Where's xtra melanin when you need him? He's legit

Few black people actually write in that exagerated style.

12/01/2017 - 11:33am schedule

Unfortunately the schedule is somewhat tougher and the record may not reflect the team improvement.

12/01/2017 - 11:29am Your point

now that you put it that way... I feel you

12/01/2017 - 11:27am concerning

This is a concerning trend not good for the game. We beat FSU last January with Pep in the game.

12/01/2017 - 11:20am Rush

Hopefully Peters can develop a better feel for the oncoming rush so as not to get blindsided.

11/30/2017 - 2:31pm correlation

Does small = fast?

11/30/2017 - 2:28pm 2.0

How about Deshaun Watson 2.0. If we had him in '16, we win the natty! A running/passing QB this year and we still win 10 games. Nothing covers up a problem OL like dual threats.

11/29/2017 - 2:12pm Clowney

His hit on Vince Smith was one of the most overrated ever. Taylor Lewan stuffed Clowney all day then Kwiatkowski missed the block so Smith gets blown up by a guy 1 foot taller and 100lbs heavier. BFD
