Wife of former MSU AD Mark Hollis seems to be gunning for current MSU AD Beekman

I'm not sure what to make of this.  Former MSU AD Mark Hollis retired during the Nassar investigation and went to work for MSU alum/billionaire Dan Gilbert.  Interim MSU president Engler then announced a national search for the next AD before hiring Bill Beekman from within the MSU athletic department.  Beekman had never been an athletic director prior to being hired at MSU.

Now Hollis's wife is demanding the MSU board release 6,000 emails relating to the Nassar investigation which she seems to be saying will shed light on how Beekman was hired.

Don't really know how to link stuff so I'd appreciate it if someone could post it properly.

Let’s see what we have here...

1) Dent in the head,

2) Creepy looking skin, e.g. too many different colors and patches, a texture that looks like something left our in the sun too long,

3) also creepy, a smile that looks like the grill of a ‘57 Buick,

4) eyes that may or may not work.

What is this guy doing at the face of the program?  She might have a case for extortion, not that Hollis didn’t merit being dealt a dirty hand.

From everything I've read, no one has a clue about why she'd care.  It's very strange that she's linking Beekman's hire to the 6,000 Nassar related documents that MSU has refused to turn over.  No one I've seen so far knows the connection between those documents and Beekman's hiring.

It was certainly odd that Engler promised a national search and then settled on Beekman. Hollis and Blackwell were made the fall guys for this. Dantini over played his hand and didn’t realize he had zero support left in the administration after LAKS and Hollis were gone. Rumor is Beekman finally grew a paid and told Mork that if he refused to make any changes to his staff that MSU was prepared to move on.

If Beekman actually grew a pair (unlikey) it was after Dantonio got a $4.3 million retention bonus and then walks out and bones the program and university. And Mark scowls and acts like he's been mistreated.  Now he's skulking around Spartan Stadium looking over Mel's shoulder. What an asshole. This is my long-winded answer to Beekman growing a pair. Not on your life.

It's remarkable that such a dysfunctional athletic department has done as well as it has in the big two sports over the last decade.

I'd argue that before Nassar hit, the MSU athletic department was anything but dysfunctional.  Hollis/Dantonio/Izzo ran that place like a machine.  A disgusting machine but a machine nonetheless.  They had a single vision and put it into place.  No internal fighting or dissent at all.

The Beekman hire smelled bad, coverup bad. But Hollis had been at MSU since 1995, AD since 08, so he knew the bad stuff too. I really don't know what's going on. Wild ass speculation: Hollis is lying to his wife that he knew nothing? Or he told her the truth that he knew about bad stuff but others with more power kept him from doing stuff? (totally plausible with a majority of exathletes/coaches on trustees.) Someone needs witness protection.
