I'm having a coupla celebratory drinks....

....because life is too short to be a whiny little bitch when you're sitting undefeated.

I'm drinking Okanagan Pale Ale, my favorite beer. I'll probably have 18 or 19 tonight.

Between this season and the last two seasons. Hoke has never hyped this team, it's never good enough and we can always improve, they are looking for the mistakes and working to fix them. Both years with RR I can not remember one time during one of those hot starts where he called a unit out or talked about how they need to get better, because in his mind those teams were good and he couldn't see what was going on.

a full imbiber of Brian's RR kool-aid, including some of my own extra added bitterness at 3-and-out. But I have already jumped on the Hoke bandwagon after ND. BTW -- Hoke never publicly shits on RR. That is a small part of his magic touch. Hoke has had a much easier go than RR, but he has been flawless so far.

Oakleaf Pinot Grigio. $2.77 a bottle. From Walmart of course.  Normally I don't bust out the good stuff for the pre-conference games, but we played pretty damn good today on defense.

I always feel like an idiot because I don't know what Oberon is. I could google it but I'd rather get a description from the people that enjoy it. Can I find it in Boston? Or in Canada in the summer?

Knob Creek with basil from the garden and an ice cube.  Might have an Ashton later.  Haven't felt  this comfortable with the overall direction of the program since the Henson/Terrell/Walker et el signing day.

It was either that, champagne, Grand Manier, or Cuervo (I need to fucking go shopping) and I didn't want to start the shooters before 4.

It tastes like apple juice mixed with a little pee.  Not too bad.

the defense looked the best it has in 3 years, we got a big lead, got lazy and let them hang around, then hammered them on the last drive when it mattered. This game was never close.

Oh, I'll have a Peroni.

4L box of Pinot Grigiot in the fridge and I'm one-third finished with it already @ 6:30pm.  Great defensive effort today, SDSU QB didn't have his best game but give our D credit for causing some/most of his miscues.  I love our coaching staff.

GO BLUE!
