Shitty Rye with Coke and cherries. The girlfriend has wine but apparently she's "tired".
September 24th, 2011 at 5:30 PM ^
"tired" is code-name for "sexy-time"
fact.
September 24th, 2011 at 5:34 PM ^
I thought it was code for, "I'll get pillows and put them on your leg and go to sleep for an hour and a half while you sit there with whiskey by yourself."

I know this has been a tough day for Pitt fans everywhere.
September 24th, 2011 at 5:51 PM ^
I'm ignoring that. The only score I remember from today is 28-7.

Your girlfriend gives some weird handies.

I am getting a 4-0 of something. Debating between malt liquor or a light beer or both!
September 24th, 2011 at 5:28 PM ^
My pick would be steel reserve but not because of the taste.

Costco Bourbon. Not bad, but not great. Happy to be 4-0, but have a feeling that B1G play will be reminscent of the last 2 years.

Between this season and the last two seasons. Hoke has never hyped this team, it's never good enough and we can always improve, they are looking for the mistakes and working to fix them. Both years with RR I can not remember one time during one of those hot starts where he called a unit out or talked about how they need to get better, because in his mind those teams were good and he couldn't see what was going on.

He's coaching mostly with his recruits!
September 24th, 2011 at 6:29 PM ^
Rodriguez used to always talk about not being good enough to play poorly and win early in his tenure.
Well today we turned the ball over four times, missed a field goal, had a couple of silly offsides penalties, and still beat a decent team (one many in the media predicted we'd lose to) by three touchdowns.

Oakleaf Pinot Grigio. $2.77 a bottle. From Walmart of course. Normally I don't bust out the good stuff for the pre-conference games, but we played pretty damn good today on defense.

It's made by Bell's, a Michigan brewery. I've been able to find it occasionally as far as California. They also serve it in heaven. It's an easy drinking flavorful wheat ale that is in the top 5 of most people who I know that have had it.
September 24th, 2011 at 6:07 PM ^
the summer ale made by Bell's Brewery of Kalamazoo, MI. I don't think they have a distributor outside of the midwest. It's very good stuff.
September 24th, 2011 at 6:34 PM ^
I've had oberon as far south as Miami and as far west as Iowa. it is sold at the grocery stores in North Carolina.
September 25th, 2011 at 9:08 AM ^
We have it in Athens GA. Tasty stuff.
September 25th, 2011 at 11:38 AM ^
But the Oberon (and most other midwest or Canadian beers for that matter) doesn't taste the same in the South as they do in MI.
September 24th, 2011 at 5:28 PM ^
On the rocks.... hardcore, can only have 2-3

Just got back from the bar cuz the power went out at my place for the last three quarters. I'm drinking some Heineken lights right now. Not the best but it'll do for now.

Drinking Terrapin Pumkinfest tonight. Hoping to convince the fiancee to drive me to the liquor store for whiskey, but we'll see.

Knob Creek with basil from the garden and an ice cube. Might have an Ashton later. Haven't felt this comfortable with the overall direction of the program since the Henson/Terrell/Walker et el signing day.

I got 400 bucks on Illinois. Zook should be shit canned. They are playing two qb's I have no clue Wtf he is thinking.

It was either that, champagne, Grand Manier, or Cuervo (I need to fucking go shopping) and I didn't want to start the shooters before 4.
It tastes like apple juice mixed with a little pee. Not too bad.

the defense looked the best it has in 3 years, we got a big lead, got lazy and let them hang around, then hammered them on the last drive when it mattered. This game was never close.
Oh, I'll have a Peroni.
September 25th, 2011 at 9:53 AM ^
summary right there.
Sierra Nevada Torpedo and Sam Adams Octoberfest last night, finished off with a little Beam.
Kinda regretting the Beam this monring - nothing like waking up and realizing a skunk shit in your mouth.
September 24th, 2011 at 6:37 PM ^
4L box of Pinot Grigiot in the fridge and I'm one-third finished with it already @ 6:30pm. Great defensive effort today, SDSU QB didn't have his best game but give our D credit for causing some/most of his miscues. I love our coaching staff.
GO BLUE!
