UM Likely To Sign With Nike
Will U-M return to Nike when the adidas contract is up? All signs point to yes ($): https://t.co/Nr9EbMzRuM

Talk about going to bed with a smile on my face. Please be true.
You'll smile until ticket prices go up to make up for the monetary loss. But UM will get NC's because of a stupid swoosh on their jerseys, right?

Id rather they advertise in the stadium than increase ticket prices again.

There is more to life than money. In fact, the most special and unique things ignore it altogether.
I'm sorry I guess I'm not allowed an opinion on a message board. My mistake.
I prefer to wear and pay for apparel I like. I like Nike stuff and I think the teams will look better in Nike apparel. If I have to pay $10-$15 more for a ticket that's already north of $100, do I seriously care at that point?
Yes.
Well... alright then.
DOUBLE POST
And post something funny/Michigan related. That's what I like to do.
I like Nike stuff better, too, but 40 mil is a lot to give up for it
Figure it out.
I guess the Nike fan boys on this site can celebrate; untill they demand we swith to Adidas becuase Nike sucks.
Is that piping? F-Nike
What do you mean? No one ever complained about Nike when they were our outfitter; tic
One can only hope its true.
Adidas bonfire?

...do you know ho many pairs of Michigan Addidas socks and gloves he has. He will now have to spend fortunes to upgrade his Michigan wardrobe or be mocked for being the kid in the cheap Adidas gear that will forever be associated with the dark ages of Brandon/Rich Rod/Hoke.
All hail Harbaugh and Nike! It is a new day for the Wolverines! First order of business...please bring back the retro Maize Fab Five shorts...mine are in desperate need of replacement.
It's not really expensive if you know what you're doing when it comes switching over.
I've made a plan up. The only expensive part will be the gear binge once the Michigan Nike gear is released.
But I'm sure your basic plan does: spend a lot of money and love it.
In my twisted head it does because there is a plan that I typed out about a year ago in case this were to happen.
The plan is buying the new outfitter's essentials first (shoes, socks, boxers) when the decision is announced a year before it can legally begin so it's out of the way. Not a rush with this one.
Then, once the gear comes out, I have prioritized things. Jerseys are the first thing I have to buy once they are released so I have them ready before the season and can get them patched with the B1G logo.
Then it goes on from there.
This plan I typed out is only second to DEFCON in magnitude which is the massive changes that would take place to my SuperGuide structure if Michigan was ever to leave the B1G.
That would be a 10.0 earthquake to how they're formatted as I'd have to spend months going through each one making changes and re-shaping.
Am I scaring you?
Sometimes there are things you simply don't need to share.
Have you ever even seen a vagina?
Will the Nike version be that different from the Adidas one?
Nike pantened the true version, so yes.
Although I now wonder if it was clear that I was referring to the post about the vagina.
If so, I'd love to know how Nike patented that.
It was clear since that is what I responded to. Who knows how Nike pantents anything but they did with school colors (like they did with Michigan maize)so they can offer millions less than other manufacturers and keep people from complaining. If they could patent the image of a vagina to make a buck, they would.
The Nike one is sideways.
and curved on one end...
and I've been coming here for--what?--seven, eight years.
I had to log in just to upvote.
@lbpeley - In person, or on the internet? There's a difference.....or so I've been told.
Post of the day!
You don't know the half of it.
half of a vagina???
uhhh...which half?
/half s
Spoken like a true sex haver
I'm in. I could not stand to see you in the wrong gear.
until you sit down and compile your next SuperGuide:
THE NIKE APPAREL SUPERGUIDE
Until and unless you do so, you risk allowing the entire MGoBlog Community to wander aimlessly in apparel darkness. Mark my word, it WILL be your fault.
Mom, Dad, can I have more money for these things?
I think he's mentioned he is working this summer actually.

The plan has a part where you stop being a kid and grow up and try and get a girlfriend. Then again do we need more mommas boys feeding off the tit of their rich parents who give them money because they are the only child.
Eh, he's not hurting himself or anyone else. It's a hobby for him, and it isn't our money, so who cares who, what, or how he spends his parents or his parents money.

Go buy Nike stock before we switch to them and WD goes on a shopping spree.
Hope they have a plan on how to make up 4 million a year. Only probably over 40 million in lost revenue.
If it's that simple, why doesn't every big brand athletic department want to be with Adidas?
No one on MGoBlog has been able to answer this simple question yet. Waiting for the first
