There are...
...days until Phil Brabbs (PK 1999-2003) watches the 2022 Wolverines' first game on September 3rd against Colorado State!
Go Blue.
Only one game I could possibly do for this one. Here it is, this time in no-huddle format...
Enjoy!
I may get negged for this and that’s ok, but I don’t think the last catch by Braylon was a fumble. That would be ruled an incompletion 9/10 times today. Also hilarious he didn’t choose to cover the ball just in case! Feels like we got gifted that game somehow
Oh, you shouldn't get negged. It was absolutely an incomplete pass.
I disagree, Marine. Not obviously a catch but not obviously incomplete either. I'd put it at 5/10 or maybe 6/10.
Maybe this is how far back we have to go to find an influential close call that went Michigan's way?
Phil Brabbs went from zero to hero in 60 minutes in that game. He will never be forgotten because of one kick.
I can’t remember if he beat the cancer or not, but bless him 1000000x over for fighting that battle.

Phil’s story is an inspiration (as always, fuck cancer) and a testament to the power of the human spirit. We are all capable of so much more than we realize. For that reason, Phil will forever be my favorite #34.
I remember watching the kick in low definition, having absolutely no clue where the ball was until the crowd went nuts. What a weird game.
Down to our last month! Feels like last week that we were reading about #99. Thanks for making the dog days of summer go by so fast.
OT: It was nice yesterday, out here in the middle of the godforsaken state of Kansas, to get a very hearty "GO BLUE" from a Dillon/Kroger stocking women...for my Michigan hat and mask. It happens-but not all that often.
Love me some Phil Brabbs🏈😊.
Such an incredible and inspiring individual.
Go Phil and Go Blue 🏈🏈🏈
