Well, yes-- "it is normal for the defense to be ahead of the offense" early in the year. But this is no longer Spring ball.
And they reassured us with those same words last year . . . .
I hope the OL improves, but right now it flat out sucks.

Jabrill Peppers is pretty much all over the place. Michigan has put a ton on his plate, and he in no way looks rattled/confused.

I'm so skeptical of Funk. I just can't come up with a scenario that puts anything but a lot of the blame on him for last season. Even if it was a complexity/volume of schemes problem, what are the chances that (1) he noticed the problem, (2) he told Borges and Hoke that his guys can't handle it, and (3) Borges and Hoke told him to piss off? Seems very unlikely to me. I think the experience thing is a big deal, but it doesn't justify what happened last season. That was awful despite there being two NFL tackles and some really highly recruited talent on the roster.

I'm one of the more "be patient with the coaches" guys here, but I'll start.
Fire Funk. Not now, because that would mess up the season, but fire him seven months ago. I just wrote out my reasons for being skeptical of him above, but I just don't see how he doesn't deserve A LOT of the blame for last season.

How does the passing offense look? It sounds like we are almost exclusively passing. Is that the case, or are all the runs just bad?
