I'm strongly debating ditching the smart phone and going back to something with limited internet access and maybe some other small features. Anyone done this? If so, how did it work for you?

"Flowers for Algernon". Except instead of phones getting smarter and then dumber, it was about a human. It was a really sad story though, so I suggest you don't try to replicate it.
