Potential #1 Seed Syracuse in a tight one with EDIT: Lost to(!) Temple (this kind of thing actually matters now!).  Big nonconf games for Ohio, Illinois, and Sparty.

I didn't start watching unitl the second half but Temple is looking very good in this game (sounds like some Syracuse pressure got to them though in this second half).  The touted Carter-Williams only has two field goals in this game thus far (along with six free throws).

I wonder how many games we could lose and still get a 1 seed.  MSU got one with 7 losses last year, but they had a tougher non conference and won the big ten tourney.

If we win the B1G after going undefeated in noncon we'll get a 1 seed however many losses we have. With the depth this year the winner could definitely pile up half a dozen losses or more.

Michael Carter-Williams did not play the game of the best pg in the nation that many of you have argued he is...
3/15 fg, 7/15 ft, 4 asst and 3 turnovers. Granted he is allowed to have off games but he is not as flawless as many have argued.

Ya, he has a really good free throw shooting defense scheme that held him to
Under 50% from the charity stripe....

Also, they just lost to canisius handily so I'm not sure if you can only point to his coaching. If anything, mcw just had a crappy game.

Good thing is, the way JMo runs the floor, Nix will only last a few possessions on the court before he is gassed.  Also, Texas has not bodied him up on defense, making him look a bit better than he is.  He is certainly a better offensive player in the half court than Morgan is, but he will have a tough time matching up with him over the course of a game.

Can someone please gif that Izzo crying/whining into his hands before the last break?

And will some announcer please have the courage to call out what has long been a laughable and over-wrought acting/reacting routine by Izzo?
