Petersen staying at Boise St
Didn't see this posted on the board yet, but ESPN reports that Petersen has decided to stay at Boise St. Stanford had contacted him about their HC vacancy and of course his name came up as a possibility for M.

Eh, Kellen Moore will be a senior and I'm sure BSU has alot of talent returning. Plus seems Petersen is gonna be a lifer at BSU. Not surprised.

That guy used "weather" in place of "whether." I give it a 0 out of 10 on the credibility scale.

Thats why i was reluctant to post it.
That being said, It could be Pryor himself breaking the news to us.

Plus, these were the same guys to publish this...

but there is not even a direct quote from Pryor, nor any links/sources provided.

Was hoping to have a double dose of great news in one day.

I didn't know that there was a big need for tight-ends that can't block or catch in the NFL. Best of luck to you, TP.

Damn, if he wasn't fired we might have even made it to a New Year's Day bowl next year.

No? Well then let Chris stay at Boise.

Hoke to Stanford. Book it.
January 10th, 2011 at 10:47 PM ^
Yup I agree. He would get to use Harbaughs awesome bathroom.
January 11th, 2011 at 2:01 AM ^
That would make sense, he followed him to SDSU. Hoke's next stop...the NFL.
January 11th, 2011 at 2:28 AM ^
Harbaugh was at San Diego no state. But anyways Hoke to Stanford would be fantastic let him have a chance to make all of us doubters into believers.

His son, Sam, is a cancer survivor. It's been 10 years since he was diagnosed with brain cancer, but Sam is only 11 or 12 years old. As a result, Chris is not ego-driven. He doesn't need the affirming power of being the highest paid coach in America, or coaching at a "better" school with a "better" program. He's a man with the right perspective on things.

Nija = Chris Petersen.

RR definitely not going to Pitt. They got Tulsa's coach. I bet Shadrovick is upset.

I wonder how beavis feels that he left the chance to play for michigan but instead to play at a conf usa school and in return for michigan picks up some athlete named denard who turns into one hell of a player. We really need to thank him.

He's not ready for a bigtime job yet, his resume is still too thin. The Big East should be a good test for him. If he passes the test, look for him to move on to a bigtime program in 3-4 years.

Good for you Cullen! Convince all your teammates of the same!

I'm sure I heard somebody say that Michigan is Peterson's Dream Job. He'll have to pick a number and get in line behind Harbaugh and Gruden, though.
January 11th, 2011 at 7:11 AM ^
and in the meanwhile Hoke goes to Stanford.
Would that make Brian happy or sad?
January 11th, 2011 at 11:07 AM ^
I would not find that funny at all.
