Nice guy, he used to hold his staff Christmas dinner at MacKinnon’s Restaurant in Northville when I served there during my high school years in the 80’s. Bob was just like the character he portrayed on TV.

A good friend of mine attended the 150 year reunion for the Glee Club a few years ago. He was the MC for the dinner. My friend said that his choice of language was rather salty. Hearing that made me laugh and like the guy even more.
