OT: How to find Joe Donovan's HAIL headband?
I really want to find Donovan's HAIL headband for sale. I've tried MDen and Google and have had no luck. Can anyone help me get one?

Did you check the stores in Ohio?
Maybe it is just for him? IIRC he wears one because his brother, who passed, wore one. Same with the #0.
Try his laundry. Those are custom made.

Take white cotton tee shirt. Cut off short sleeves carefully at the seams. Write HAIL on them with a Sharpie. Put one on your head. Boom. You also have a sweet wife beater left over.
All that’s left is to get some beer and puke stains on it and then it’ll be fully functional.
You just described 95% of the headbands I've ever owned.
I get the joke. The last sentence blows. I hate wife beater. Hold ourselves to a higher standard. That’s not funny.

Sadly there are those here that just see it that way. Probably gets bent out of shape at the "rule of thumb" comment also, if he knows the history behind it.
Unfortunate there isn’t more help in this thread; I’d love to buy one or two myself. Wouldn’t be surprised if they hit the market after the baseball season.
You might have some success finding a vendor on Etsy willing to do it custom for you. I had a similar issue trying to find scrub hats. Everything out there has crazy patterns and all I wanted was solid maize or solid blue with the block M. So I contacted a vendor and asked if they could do that and they were happy to help

Seriously, I think he took a HAIL T shirt, cut out the middle, and attached it to his head like a Buff. I'm doing that with my old Foreigner Tshirt right now so I can kick ass this summer...
He'd have to have a pretty giant effing head to fit the size of a torso. Otherwise, do they make baby 'hail' shirts in white?

It's a great story, just wish he would learn how to block a baseball. Hes been brutal behind the dish
