OT: First snow!

I refuse to give anyone south of Lansing credit.
Case in point: We stayed in AA overnight after the Big Chill last year and between AA and Lansing we saw 15 cars in the ditch.
Lansing to Mt Pleasant we saw none.
You downstaters dont know how to drive.

Us SW Michiganders know a little bit about snow. That lake likes to dump snow on us. Nothin like the UP but more than the rest of the state.

You think fellow Michiganders can't drive?? Come visit Long Island after a brief dusting, a light rainstorm... even sunset throws those people off. I have a theory that New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvannia plates are all yellow because it's part of a color-code to warn other drivers.

I spent about 1/2 of my life in NY (not the city, but I'm sure they all drive like assholes) and the other 1/2 in NC, and I can definitely say that southern drivers are much worse.

I just assembled my first snow blower/thrower. So proud of myself. I'm definitely not a very useful person around the house.

....was at about 3:30 PM at my office, which is near Ecorse & Haggerty Roads. I had just returned from a circuit patrol in Inkster (where it's at!) and it was snowing as I pulled into the lot. Christmas can't be far away now, eh?
