Did anyone see the segment on Sportscenter today about Saban's garage door opener for his office?
One of his players said Saban is "probably the most powerful man in Alabama". I completely agree with him.

Well, I read it in the Tuscaloosa News the day after my tickets were delivered and my office mates caught it...

I will say, the University is no where near as rigourous as Michigan. (Of course, my perspective as someone teaching undergraduates versus being one might make it impossible for an accurate comparison... But, the freshman here do not know how to write an argumentative paper to save their lives. But they do learn well -- so blame it on the state of Alabama's education system).
Now, Michigan could learn a few things about tailgating because there is nothing like an Alabama tailgate (It starts a week before. They shut down campus the day before a game. A tent city is erected on campus. It's nuts.)

I went down to Tuscaloosa for their spring game a couple of years ago and I think that spelling is the least of their concerns.
