The Orlando Wolverines

With the pick of Caleb Houston last night, the Orlando Wolverines/Michigan Magic now have five Wolverines on their roster and could theoretically run them at the same time. Counting Houston they also have Iggy, both Wagners, and The Big Sleep (currently on their G League team) and I'd probably need to go dust off my Starter jacket if it happened.

Awesome to see so many of our dudes in the league, especially the concentration down in central Florida!

It was cool when there were 3-4.  It's even cooler with 4-5.

I gotta say though, being a Bad Boys and Bad Boys II fan, the Pistons' draft has me pretty excited.  Having heard Jalen Duran's name for most of a year when we were recruiting him to Michigan has me excited about him being a Piston.   Ivey's story with his mom and grandfather playing in Detroit is pretty freaking cool too.

Nerdy history tidbit.

Astronaut Swigert said “I believe we’ve had a problem here.”  Ground Control in Houston asked them to repeat and then astronaut Lovell replied “Houston, we’ve had a problem.”

Tom Hanks in the movie Apollo 13 didn't like the original real quote and changed it to just Lovell saying "Houston we have a problem."

It's a lot like Belichek drafting a lot of Michigan players, and the Saints draft a lot of OSU players. Sometimes a coaching staff just falls in love with players from one particular school.

I think at one point, at least three of the Saints four starters in the secondary were all OSU players.  Now they've got Michael Thomas and Chris Olave out wide.
