Official Cowboy Classic Hater's thread: HATERS ONLY!
I'm not a offical playa hater but if you want to bitch about one of the following: The band almost not going, our Uniforms, numbers on helmets, d-line gettin blown up, o-line gettin blown up, Denard gettin blown up, our running backs gettin blown up, our db's getting beat deep again and again, stupid penalties(lewan), dave brandon, brent mustburger(i did that on purpose), dee hart, rich rodriguez recruiting undersized linemen, Did I miss anything? please share.
Edit: Please be advised that everyone deals with disappointment differently and this thread is intended to allow people the opportunity to express their negative feelings towards tonights game. Additionally, This will allow all positive minded people to go to another thread and start to plan for a positive outcome for next weeks game. I intended to do this after a night of hating. Thank you. Please don't Neg bang, i'm trying to keep all the hater's in one thread.
Let the hate continue into the night!!!!!!!!

The 4 fans I watched the game with thought the unis were great. 3 were female, so yeah, but still. They liked them.

Isn't Vincent Smith like 5'6" and 170ibs? If Bama's D-ine is SO big, fast and powerful, why would we use our smallest guy to run at them? and Gardner needs about 300 more practice reps at receiver...

We lost the game on our Dline. How many tackles did those guys, as group, have all game? Like 5? That's not going to get it done. And talk about tackling.. just bad tackling by everyone. We didn't seem to tackle anyone on the first opportunity. Always the 2nd or 3rd try. LOTS OF YARDS AFTER CONTACT. No mention of ANY of the linebackers. Jake Ryan after that first series? Demens was 100% absent. Desmond Morgan? Was he in the ballgame?
Gardner's instincts are NOT at receiver despite the hype. On that jump ball early that he could have caught, you could see him putting his arm out in preparation to protect himself from the fall...that's not going to get it done.
Not only did we get routed in bad fashion we got Denard dinged pretty good, who knows about losing Countess for how long (ACL?), and then Lewan to ice the cake. Very costly game for us to play.
I did notice on pass protection we consistently kept Denard clean, but running the ball stunk. Too much east-west running.

i want the power to NEG back!

didn't call nearly enough designed runs for Denard in the first half. Only that one on third and one, which got the first. We were just overmatched though, we need another year or two for our recruiting to catch up to theirs.

The band almost not going: Don't care. They went, that's what's important.
Our uniforms: Legit gripe.
Numbers on helmets: Don't care.
D-line gettin blown up: What did you think was going to happen?
O-line gettin blown up: What did you think was going to happen?
Denard gettin blown up: What did you think was going to happen?
Our running backs gettin blown up: What did you think was going to happen?
Our DB's getting beat deep again and again: After Countess went down, what did you think was going to happen?
Stupid penalties (Lewan): Legit gripe.
Dave Brandon: I'm not mad at him for scheduling this game. If you want to be the best, you have to play the best.
Brent Musburger: Legit gripe.
Dee Hart: Get over it.
Rich Rodriguez recruiting undersized linemen: That horse is not only dead, it's been mutilated into an unrecognizable pulp. Get over it.

What do you call a virgin in Alabama?
Faster than her brothers.
How do you circumcise a guy in Alabama?
Kick his sister in the jaw.
Am I in the wrong thread? I'll see myself out.

made me want to punch the TV. I've come to expect ridiculous commentary out of Musberger, since he appears to be in the early stages of Dementia, however Herbstreit was taking every opportunity to take shots at Michigan, and seemed to enjoy twisting the knife every chance he got. I expected his usual ball-washing of the SEC, but he took so many pot shots at Michigan, it was making me sick! Some of the insults were deserved, but Herby seemed to enjoy pouring salt on the wound.

LOUD NOISES!!!
September 2nd, 2012 at 11:25 AM ^
This thread was made for me.
1) David Brandon / The Coaching Staff... if you're going to schedule this game, you best bring all your guns to the fight. Not saying Toussaint should have played, but you had to use Denard as a runner if we were going to win. Instead you "shelved" him to avoid injury, and we got blown out. Also - what happened to all those interesting stunts on the first series? Did Saban render them useless, or did we give up trying?
2) Some of the worst fucking reffing I have seen in a game of ours... ever. The Rawls facemask as a holding call on Lewan? Knee Grow Please. That shit was AWFUL. Also I don't know if it was the camera angle, but it seemed as if every "first down by the length of the football" became 3rd and 1 for us.
