Posting error.

Anyway, Rutgers down to Northwestern in the middle of the second half. Still plenty of time but just goes to show tough to win in the Big Ten against anybody.

Rutgers is undefeated at home to date.

Additionally, hope Juwan uses this to motivate team as NW has played well in a hostile environment and should not be taken lightly in their home arena.

checking the box score, NW is 10-20 from 3 and only has 2 turnovers.  still up 10 with 6:53 to go.

go cats!

A Northwestern 3 gets stuck between the rim and board, and that's the best NW possession in the last 3 and a half minutes, because at least they got the ball back because of the possession arrow.  It was also an excellent descriptor of this game.

I think it was more that Rutgers played like ass for about 30 minutes and then they (especially Geo Baker) decided to go win the game.   They looked really flat in the earlier snippets of the game that I watched, up to the and-1 when NW got fouled on a dunk to go up about 16.  The defense was just standing around watching.  Then in the last 5 minutes of regulation and in OT there was a lot more energy on defense and Baker was unstoppable, and it was just enough.  That would have been a crippling loss (easily their worst of the season) for Rutger.

NW whistled for 25 fouls, but getting only 12 FT's for their guys.  rutgers took 34 FT's and was only whistled 13 times.

and its not like NW is some driving, crushing, foul-prone team.
