NFL Open Thread - Now with 100% more free streaming!

Submitted by go16blue on

We get to start this thread a bit early today, since we have a London game about to kick off. Perhaps the biggest news of the day isn't about football at all - Yahoo is streaming the game, for free, for the first time in NFL history. Here's hoping that becomes the norm sooner rather than later!

12 minutes to go, 2nd quarter, each team has run 20 plays.

Miami has 275 total yards. Houston has 3.

Hoyer 1-12, 7 yards, 1 pick-6. That might be the worst line I've ever seen for a professional quarterback not playing for Cleveland. It probably would mean another opportunity for Mallett if he could have made it to the team plane on time. Or maybe they'll put him in as a punishment?

Patriots receivers must be setting an NFL record today in drops. 10 fucking drops.

Jesus christ. Jets aren't doing shit to win this game. Pats should be blowing them out.

Not a huge fan of Stafford, but he has no chance to do anything behind this offensive line. 4 Mayhew draft picks on that line and apparently none of them can block.

only get 3 downs at the goal line there?

1st down; incomplete pass to Calvin, offsides so repeat first down

1st: Winn gets stuffed

2nd: Burton gets stuffed

3rd: incomplete to Riddick, turnover on downs

What did I miss?

EDIT: I guess the ref misspoke after the penalty it occurred on 2nd down
