I like how they're trying to incorporate our beautiful official pattern into the clothes, but I'm just not a fan of the hat designs.
The shorts are disgusting but I like the rest of it. Nothing exceptional but solid all around.

Jordan introduced it last yr. It matches the windows in the Union or some other building on campus.

Have created a custom print to represent Michigan. Comprised of several symbolic references connected to the University and town, it is a distinguishing pattern that evokes consistency and ultimately a sense of pride in the institution.
The three arches at the top represent the three campuses within Ann Arbor (Central, North and South), as well as the three University campuses in Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint. They also reference tree canopies, connecting to the origin of the town’s name and its landscape.
Like the Valiant font, the line structure ties into the familiar wrought iron found on the athletics campus, and it also symbolizes the bond and connection throughout the entire Michigan community. The brick motif draws upon the athletics campus architecture as well.
All of these elements combine for a strong, distinctive print that represents the Michigan family.

From the small-but-vocal minority around these parts, it appears to be the swoosh in the corner. Literally, I think Nike could just sell people a shirt made out of human hair and if it had a swoosh in the upper-left corner, there would be a line to buy it.

I have absolutely no clue what that pattern signifies. Marketing gimmick for people who don't know any better, methinks.

Same here. I own two of the new shirts because I got them as a gift. Thankfully the person who gifted it to me knows my taste and went with the most generic shirts you can find. One is just a plain Block M and the other just says Michigan across the chest.
but I think all of these articles really suck.
I mean, seriously, is this the part where we're amazed? Looks like they gave up in the middle of trying.
Also, while I'm at it, get off my lawn you darn creative marketing student kids!
I'm waiting for the classic thin-M Bo hat in low-crown with a bendable bill. New Era makes one, but it looks like garbage. Don't know why it's so difficult--that's the hat most people wear.
