Since Harbaugh took over, there have been 24 playoff polls released

 

Michigan has been ranked in 19 of 24

Top 15 in 18 of 24

Top 10 in 13 of 24

Top 5 in 9 of 24

 

Friendly reminder we were 5-7 with losses to Rutgers, Maryland, Minnesota and Utah the year before he took over (not to mention being outscored by ND,MSU and OSU 108-39).

That 2016 loss to IA really hurt us bad! That was game we should have won and if we did even a close loss to OSU, we would have made the playoffs that year.

Harbaugh deserves praise for this but at the end of the day it comes to wins and loses and wins in the key games. Notre Dame was a key win. But its just one key win. It doesnt make the season. Win out fuck up ohio states playoff chances and go to a new years 6 bowl game and this season is a success. Lose to ohio state or michigan state (lol) and well the happy dies again. Please win that game

There are a lot of positive spins one can put on the Harbaugh era. None of them are going to resonate strongly until we beat Ohio State.

Harbaugh is the best coach in college football adjusted for the talent he has to work with. He single handedly turned our football program around, notched a Co-Big Ten East Championship on the way, has a winning percentage beyond reproach, and is on the cusp of a national championship.  If you doubt harbaugh, feel free to resign as a fan.
