They had good ball movement on the first couple of possessions and looked like they should have had a couple of nice shots, but they never took them. Especially Wagner underneath the basket. He should have at least drew a foul on that.

How does Simpson not pass that back?

I have no idea why Teske shoots everything from shoulder height or lower. He's tries to sneak shots around guys that he's 5" taller than.

We have a team that doesnt shoot well anyway so our game plan so far is to shoot from 4 feet behind the 3 point line...sweet!

Why do we keep shooting 3’s 3-4ft behind the line? Many of these are deep, no wonder we don’t make them.

Franz needs to change his shot in offseason. The shooting from the hip isn’t working. The distance control is off a lot. Short or long frequently. Needs to adjust.

Wagner is awful at 3 point shooting. Going through a horrendous shooting slump.

SOOOOOOOO many open shots being absolutely bricked.

Love their hustle so far. Gotten more 50/50 balls today than they have the last month combined.

Franz sucks at shooting, but the rest of his game has improved. Nice progress on D and making right decisions when he has the ball. 

Rebounding and playing with a hard edge must have been Juwan’s message. 

Too many turnovers so far but thank God Livers is back. And they're playing pretty hard and the crowd is into it. 

Michigan plays ugly so they're gonna have to win ugly. Just keep grinding. 

Those type of turnovers are what make me furious. So fucking unnecessary. On an elongated 9-0 run, State couldn't get anything going offensively, hadn't made a shot in a long time, and just like that, they get a freebie. Simpson needs to be much, much, better than that.

We have to keep unforced turnovers to a minimum. Come on X

Well, Livers landed from a dunk attempt and can still walk, so that's a good sign.

Not going to win if they keep letting State get easy points via these turnovers. Need to be much smarter with the ball. And making shots would be nice, too.

6 turnovers each so far and both teams are shooting below 30%. Letting them get easy points in transition off turnovers could sink a good defensive performance.
